I am a lover of nature and free spaces, not only of landscapes but also of wildlife, of the respect and balance that should exist between us and the world around us, my family is too and we enjoy the daily visits that occur in our home in Falcon, Venezuela.

>Soy amante de la naturaleza y de los espacios libres, no solo de los paisajes sino también de la fauna, del respeto y equilibrio que debe haber entre nosotros y el mundo que nos rodea, mi familia también lo es y disfrutamos de las visitas diarias que ocurren en nuestra casa en Falcón, Venezuela.

My house is open with open spaces between the backyard and the kitchen. In the backyard there are many fruit trees of lemon, mango and loquat, and flowering trees such as Trinitarias, Tamaibas, Ferns and other smaller plants. So it is common to see birds in the patio looking for shade when the sun is hot or for food. 


>Mi casa es abierta con espacios libres entre el patio y la cocina. En el área del patio hay muchas árboles frutales de limón, mango y níspero, y árboles de flores como trinitarias. Tamaibas, Helechos y otras plantas más pequeñas. Así que es frecuente ver pájaros en el patio buscando sombra cuando el sol aprieta o comida. 

Many years ago, my father bought them a little hanging house in which he put rice and birdseed so that they could freely come to eat, and to this day it is a custom that is still maintained.

>Mi papa les compro hace muchos años una casita colgante en la que les ponía arroz y alpiste para que ellos llegaran libremente a comer, y hasta la fecha es una costumbre que se mantiene.

Over time the birds and their new generations have lost their fear of the inhabitants of the house and now they go down to the patio daily, walk on the floor and spend hours there, they also venture into the corridor of the house, and drink water from containers that my sister-in-law leaves for that purpose, and the most daring ones have even built nests in vases of flowers in the living room!

>Con el tiempo ya los pajaritos y sus nuevas generaciones supongo han perdido el miedo a los habitantes de la casa y ya bajan al patio a diario caminan por el piso y ahí pasan horas, también se aventuran dentro del corredor de la casa, y toman agua de envases que deja mi cunada para ese fin, y los mas osados incluso han llegado a construir nidos en jarrones de flores de la sala!

For my family and for me it is a beautiful experience to see every day, pigeons, parakeets, and even parrots, as they interact with each other and with us in harmony, they come down to our house safe in the knowledge that no one will harm them. It is the best way to live nature in peace and coexistence. Here are some photos that I managed to take before they flew away.     

>Para mi familia y para mi es una experiencia bella de ver todo los días, a las palomas, periquitos, amarillos, y hasta loros, como interactúan entre ellos y con nosotros  en armonía, bajan a nuestra casa seguros que ahí nadie les hará daño. Es la mejor manera de vivir la naturaleza en paz y coexistencia. Aquí les dejo algunas fotos que logre tomar antes de que volaran.</div>
