As part of my series on helping kids get into making, I am building projects using kid-appropriate maker kits. 

This is a very comprehensive and capable kit for making all kinds of robots. Unlike EZ-Robot or Littlebits, and more like LEGO Mindstorms, the focus is more on the mechanical side, using aluminium construction set kind of approach.

Very nicely packaged, and has a good feel to it, not cheap at all. Check it out and check back for a build video when I get over the flu!
