*HELLO EVERYONE,
How are you all? I hope you guys are doing great. To tell you the truth I'm a book lover, and reading books make me happy. So, I'm going to tell you the summary and review of a book. The book called A Walk to Remember is a 1999 novel by bestselling American romance-writer Nicholas Sparks. There are 13 chapters in this book.*

*I can say that A Walk to Remember was my favorite novel to read. I enjoyed the process of capturing the voice of a smart-alecky 17-year-old kid. Likewise with Jamie Sullivan. There was something intrinsically sweet about her character that gradually seemed to take over the book. It was also the only novel that made me cry while reading. A Walk to Remember was the only book that I'll adore most.*

*In many ways, Jamie Sullivan represent one of my juniors from school. Like Jamie, my junior was sweet. Like Jamie, my junior had tremendously strong faith. Like Jamie, my junior loved her god. Like Jamie, my junior wasn’t popular at school. Like Jamie, my junior was always cheerful. Like Jamie, all my junior wanted in life was to get married. And like Jamie, my junior got cancer.*

*Like Jamie, my junior met someone. And like Landon, there was a long period of time when this fellow couldn’t imagine himself marrying a girl like her. And yet, in the end, he couldn’t help himself. Even when he knew she was sick, even when he knew that she might not make it, this man asked my junior to marry him. It was just about the sweetest thing that’s ever been done for anyone.*

*And I have read that the author wrote this novel about her sister not only so that we could get to know her sister, but so that we would know what a wonderful thing it was that her husband once did for her. Sadly, her sister died in June 2000. She was thirty-three years old.*

*This novel is a bit of twisted take on your average romance novel. Instead of the good girl falling for the bad boy, it's more of the other way round. Landon Carter, your average high school ruffian is not in the slightest the kind of boy you would expect to like Jamie Sullivan, the quiet girl who always carries around a Bible with her schoolbooks. Nevertheless, destiny has a habit of bringing people who are secretly perfect for each other together. What I found interesting is that it was written from Landon's perspective.*

*Very few romance novels that I've read have been from the male perspective, let alone someone like Landon. Nevertheless, the way that Sparks has portrayed Landon through the first-person narrative allows the reader to see how Landon really feels rather than the way he acts outwardly. And I felt the feelings of them were there.*

*Jamie is a lovely character, the kind of person you'd want to have as a best friend, and by the end of the novel, Landon is the perfect gentleman. There are no two people in a novel that I have ever wanted more to end up together. But you know when everything is constant something bad will hit the wave.*

*A Walk to Remember truly is a beautiful book. It's a touching feel-good book with a bittersweet ending which is easy to fall in love with. I'm sure it's not the kind of book which will appeal to everyone, but I would wholly recommend it to anyone and everyone. I'm so glad I read this book and will probably re-read it many more times.*
