Dear friends and visitors, I welcome you to my blog. Today, this is a travel blog. 

And this is a topic that is difficult for me because it's been a long time since I traveled.  

And this is because my health does not allow it. 

Having a strong problem of overweight and morbid obesity, it is very difficult for me to move in public transport. And most of the time the seats are very uncomfortable and not appropriate for a person of my volume and my size.  

Which makes it tremendously difficult to have to travel and have to undergo a series of inconveniences such as being standing for a long time. 

The bathroom services that are not appropriate for someone of my size. 

And this brings a lot of problems that are reduced to that if I do not travel having my own means of transport or a private vehicle, I generally do not do it.  

And well, paying for a private service requires a lot of money. Which easily in a country like Venezuela, if you are not someone privileged or you have a job that causes you large amounts of money, you will not be able to afford a trip and that is why I do not usually travel.  

The most recent time I traveled, I remember it was about 30 years ago or about 25 years ago. 

For a province here called San Cristobal. It is a state that is 12 hours from where I live and I remember that the trip was really delicious.  

Rather the stay because the trip was very entertaining seeing the landscapes of all the places I was going through. 

Cornfields and sugarcane and in many cases it felt inside the bus. 

The smell of the countryside, the smell of freshly moistened land after it had rained a lot.  You could feel that smell and that smell of mountains and cows so to speak. 

I remember that when I arrived, I arrived in the morning hours after being on the bus for 12 hours.

I remember a lot that the first thing I did was go to breakfast because I arrived at about 5 in the morning.  

It was still night, it was dawn and the person who was going to receive me had not yet left his house. 

Because I had to let him know that I had arrived and the first thing I did was have breakfast. I looked for a place to have breakfast and I tried one of the typical things there called the Pisca andina.  

It is a soup that had milk, meat, fish and potatoes and in reality it is something very tasty. The gastronomy of this city is something very particular, it is very delicious. 

I remember that they served me a glass of juice and then they put the jug of juice for the same price.  

Which I found quite curious and very particular because generally when you go to a restaurant they only serve you the glass of juice. 

And they don't serve you the whole teapot or the whole liter of juice so that you can keep serving yourself as many times as you want. 

In this place, in this province, they get used to that, it is something that is very common.  

Well, then I called the person who was my partner so that he could meet me. And we met and we began to tour the whole city. 

I remember that we went to the center, we took a photograph that I still keep from many years ago.  

And I also remember that we passed through the bridge that leads to the center and we toured with the time of my stay there. 

Several small towns, among them the town of Rubio which is very beautiful.  

And other places that we visit that are very, let's say, classic. 

They are small towns where people are like peasants and are attached to old customs, right?

Everything is very healthy, everything is very simple, very simple. And I remember that people there made cachapas and arepas with piled corn.  

The corn that they collected from those fields that I had been seeing for a while and they cultivated them. 

And they peeled the corn by hand and they peeled them. And with that they made the flour to make the arepas and the cachapas, which were very tasty.  

I remember that I liked those things a lot. 

And about traveling, I would really like to be very healthy and solve all these obesity and diabetes problems that I have. My feet bleed a lot and it's hard for me to move.  

But if I can solve that, I would really like to go to Spain, visit its museums. And enjoy a lot, eating a sandwich on the bar of a Tasca and talking nonsense with my friends. I have several friends there in Madrid.  

And spending time with friends from all over the world and new friends like in @enraizar. 

I have friends from all over the world who have been there for more than 30 years that I have not seen. And I would really like to share with them and I miss them a lot.  

And that would be what I can say about this topic today of travel blog. 

There are also other places that I would like to visit, of course. Especially the Netherlands  and Amsterdam.  

And of course, it would be a great pleasure for me to be able to visit Switzerland with my friend José. 

But that's a topic for another conversation.
