"Gold Always Balances the Balance Sheet of the U.S.A." says Jim Sinclair

In this report I cover the early market action from London on Thursday, August 23rd, 2018. I look briefly at the precious metals, the dollar, tha stock market and the emerging market currencies.

Today I talk about Jim Sinclair or the original "Mr Gold" of the 1970s Bull Market. I have been following Jim's blog since 2002 and owe a great deal of my knowledge about the precious metals market to his generous service of educating the public through his blog www.jsmineset.com.

Recently Mr Sinclair has written to his subscribers and followers about how having gold now is of paramount importance as the whole house of cards or fiat money system comes crashing down. Like me he points out to the fiat currency mayhem going on in the emerging markets and how that is a symptom of the demise of the fiat dollar.

Jim Sinclair concludes that gold is the instrument by which the United States of America as will be able to rebalance its balance sheet that then precious metals will reflect true economic reality as the world has been living in a make believe paper or fiat money system since the late 1960s.

Even if you own PMs, gold @ 50,000USD will turn society into a living hell for years to come. I have difficulty imagining what it would be like. In Venezuela at least they have the "comfort" of having goods smuggled into the country from the outside. How will this be possible with a global Venezuela?
