 ### What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players! 


 I hope all of you doing well in life and spending an awesome weekend time with your family and friends. If you are a dedicated Splinterlands player actively playing this current ranked season, then I guess you have either reached your goal already for this season or are trying your best to do that. If we look at the season clock, there are only 6 hours left until the end of this ongoing ranked season. So, if you haven't met whatever goals you have set for yourself, either to reach a certain league tier and claim those reward chests or to secure a position in the glorious Champion leaderboard, I hope you enter the door as soon as possible before the season reset. Now talking about me, this season also I set the same goal of reaching the Champion League and somehow luckily I successfully entered into the champ III tier yesterday and currently sitting with a current trophy rating of 3,820. Now having only a couple of hours left before the season ends, I am thinking not to engage in the arena anymore and let’s take a rest until the season ends and be prepared for the next fresh season. 


 Moving on, let me now come to the main topic of this post as today, I will be showcasing another awesome Rebellion monster with you all. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about the RUSH TOWNSEND, so if you are interested, let’s take a dive without any further ado.

 ## RUSH TOWNSEND 



 RUSH TOWNSEND is a monster type card that was introduced in the game with the launch of Rebellion edition cards and this card comes under the core edition card set. This monster belongs to the Fire element and its attack type is Ranged. It costs a whooping 9 mana to use in card your lineup, so you choose this card while playing medium to high mana limit matches. By rarity, it is a Legendary type card, so you will need a total of 11 BCXs of cards to upgrade it to the max level. Now apart from a large ranged attack power at high speed and a good combo of armour and health, it also comes with 4 abilities at its max level which I am about to talk about below. Let us now take a further look at its league wise stats and abilities below to find out more about this monster.

 `BRONZE` 


 At level 1, this monster card possesses 4 ranged attack power at 4 speed with 1 armour and 4 health and it also gets 2 abilities since its initial level. These abilities are as follows - Ambush ( Takes an extra turn prior to the first round of battle) and Affliction (50% chance to apply affliction in every successful attack, leaving enemy units unable to heal if affliction is applied).  


`SILVER` 


 When you upgrade this card to level 2, it receives a further increased stats of 5 ranged attack power at 5 speed with 2 armour and 4 health along with those 2 abilities that I mentioned above. Though it does not get any new abilities at this level, its increased attack power with more defense stats will surely help you in battles. 



 `GOLD` 



 As you upgrade this card further to level 3, then its stats get increased further of 5 ranged attack power at 6 speed with 3 armour and 5 health. Not only does its stats gets a boost but it also receives a new ability called Piercing. With this new ability, when damage is in excess of the target’s armour, that excess damage is applied to health. 



 `DIAMOND / CHAMPION` 



 Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its max level of 4, it receives 5 ranged attack power at 6 speed with 4 armour and 6 health. Gladly, this monster also gets a new ability at its maximum level called Amplify. With this new ability, it increases the damage of Retaliate, Corrosive Ward, Magic Reflect, Return Fire and Thorns for all friendly units by 1 and does not stack.

 ### BATTLE STAT 



 This time I received a large 51 mana limit match where there were all the elements allowed in this match and also, there were 3 ruleset applied in this match as follows - Explosive Weaponry (all the monsters get the Blast ability), Going The Distance (You can only summon units with ranged attack). So after looking at all these rules and details, I started thinking about an effective strategy for this match and after browsing the cards and looking for a strategy, I finally decided to choose high speed archers for this battle and then started building my lineup accordingly. 


 For the match, first of all, I chose the legendary Fire element summoner Conqueror Jacek and at the first position of my lineup, I chose the Molten Ash Golem followed by Ash Mirage, Lava Launcher, Rush Townsend, Supply Runner and Countess Sinash at the end position of my lineup. Anyway, when both the lineups later were revealed, I found out that my opponent had used the legendary Water element summoner Possibilus the Wise and at his front position, he chose the Angelic Mandarin followed by Wave Brood, Swamp Spitter, Endura Brune, Sea Stalker and Coastal Nymph at the end position of his lineup.

As the battle began, my Rush Townsend performed 2 attacks back to back and coupling with blast, it did heavy damage to the opponent’s backline monsters. My Ash Mirage killed the first enemy monster Swamp Spitter at round 2, followed by my Supply Runner who then attacked and killed down the Endura Brune. Next, my Countess attacked and took down the Sea Stalker followed by the enemy Wave Brood who killed my Countess quickly after. Then, My Lava Launcher attacked and killed down both the Wave Brood and Angelic Mandarin. At this point, only the Coastal Nymph was alive in the opponent’s lineup, but I quickly took care of it as well and killed it with my Molten Ash Golem and thus, I won another awesome match.
