### How cards translate (visually)

Well, there shall be some artworks, too. But they are not implemented at the current playtest stage.

### New concept — Achievements
<br>
Badges that players gain for reaching certain objectives. They reveal some of the game goals in terms of flavor and of the setting's representation by the game mechanics.
<br>
To Valhalla! — First to Ascend 9 Characters — the <b>Ascend</b> mechanic sends your Workers, Warriors, and Heroes to Valhalla, effectively removing them from your deck. A player starts with no Heroes and 6 other characters. In order to get this achievement, one must draft at least three Heroes out of 9 total Heroic Character cards available.
Ruler of the Seas — The first player to have 9 water-only tiles on one’s map — cards that can be placed on the map have their Terrain borders (see Terrain on the image of the card design at the beginning of the article). They can be land-only, land-water, or water-only (the type required here).
Great Explorer — The first player to have a six-tiles long map — this is the maximum length a map can have. There's o need for the tiles to be in a straight row but they must all be legally connected.
Champion — The first player to place a Mythic Quest tile on one’s map — those are the Sea Dragon, the Dragon of the Woods, The Kraken, and the Frost Giant Fortress.
Discoverer — The first player to place a Discovery Quest tile on one’s map — those are Helluland, Markland, Vinland, and The Northern Passage.
Quest Grinder — The player with the most Quest tiles on one’s map at the End of the Game.
Greatest Fleet — The player with the most Ship tiles on one’s map at the End of the Game.
Beast Master — The player with the most Beast tiles on one’s map at the End of the Game.
Challenger of Elements — The player with the most Element tiles on one’s map at the End of the Game — these might be the most tricky tiles since the cards are mostly situational and not always beneficial to those who play them. Still, they are cheap and easy to deploy, so no bonus points when compared to collections of the other types.
