Very good afternoon my dear friends of #Hive, happy Wednesday and happy midweek for all of you who read me here today, I hope you are feeling great and of course you are having a wonderful and productive week.
This time I wanted to bring you an illustration in which I was working since Monday and this morning I could finish it completely, it is an illustration focused on the theme of magic and this time I wanted to take the ice element as the main protagonist. It turns out that in a very remote place of our world there are a series of subway caves which are completely covered by solid ice, and in these caves inhabits a magical entity known as (Jindra), which thanks to its magical powers and control of the ice element has built a huge fortress left of the earth, a place almost inaccessible to any normal person, and when someone manages to enter and get close enough to it to see it is there where they using their powers freezes them completely with a blow, thus turning them into decorative statues which placed at the entrance of his palace, this to deter outsiders to continue advancing:
>*Muy buenas tardes mis queridos amigo de #Hive, feliz miércoles y feliz mitad de semana para todos los que me leen por aquí el día de hoy, espero que se encuentren brutal y que por supuesto estén teniendo una maravillosa y productiva semana.*
>*En esta oportunidad quise venir a traerles una ilustración en la cual estuve trabajando desde el día lunes y esta mañana pude terminarla totalmente, se trata de una ilustración enfocada en la temática de la magia y esta vez quise tomar el elemento hielo como principal protagonista. Resulta que en un lugar muy recóndito de nuestro mundo existen una serie de cuevas subterráneas las cuales están completamente cubiertas por hielo sólido, y en estas cuevas habita una entidad mágica conocida como (Jindra), la cual gracias a sus poderes mágicos y control del elemento hielo ha construido una enorme fortaleza dejado de la tierra, un sitio casi inaccesibles para cualquier persona normal, y cuando alguien logra adentrarse y acercarse lo suficiente a ella para logar verla es allí donde ellas usando sus poderes los congela totalmente con un soplido, volviéndolos así estatuas decorativas las cuales coloca en la entrada de sus palacio, esto para disuadir a forasteros de seguir avanzando:*

The sketching process was simple, in this case I opted for a pose for (Jindra) in which her body was seen erect in front of her posing her hand in front of her while blowing a big icy blizzard from her lips. I started the painting process choosing a good color palette with several cold shades between blues and purples since my idea for this character was to have a skin that seemed to be formed by pure ice, in this case I used a few soft brushes to define very feminine features for (Jindra), as well as some shadows in the areas of the neck, the lower part of the hand and under the hair. For the eye work my idea was to make a transition of very subtle blues with watercolor-like brushes, I first gave the oval shape to the eyes and then built the iris from the inside with blue tones and with quite dark and fixed pupils in the direction where she is blowing.
>*El proceso de bocetado fue simple, en este caso opte por una pose para (Jindra) en la cual se viese su cuerpo erguido hacia el frente posando su mano frente a ella mientras sopla una gran ventisca helada de sus labios. Empecé el proceso de pintado eligiendo una buena paleta de colores con varias tonalidades frías entre azules y morados ya que mi idea para este personaje era que tuviese una piel que pareciera formado por hielo puro, en este caso usé unos cuantos pinceles suaves para ir definiendo rasgos muy femeninos para (Jindra), así como algunas sombras en las zonas del cuello, la parte baja de la mano y debajo del cabello. Para el trabajo de ojos mi idea era realizar una transición de azules muy sutiles con pinceles como el acuarela, le di primero la forma ovalada a los ojos y luego construí el iris desde adentro con tonos azules y con pupilas bastante oscuras y fijas en la dirección a donde está soplando.*

For the hair work I used a range of super light blue tones to contrast a little with the skin of (Jindra), with my watercolor brush I was forming a hair a little long but collected with a bun behind his head, in this case I used my bristle brush also to leave a few strands of hair loose on top, on the sides and in the area of the sideburns. In the case of clothing try to use dark tones like a navy blue with which I formed a kind of shirt with long sleeves and high collars; then with shades close to white I formed a kind of blouse with one sleeve to elbow length and the other side without sleeves.
>*Para el trabajo del pelo utilice una gama de tonos azules super claros para contrastar un poco con la piel de (Jindra), con mi pincel de acuarela fui formando una cabellera un poco larga pero recogida con un moño detrás de su cabeza, en este caso use mi pincel de cerdas también para dejar unos cuantos mechones de pelo sueltos arriba, a los lados y en la zona de las patillas. En el caso de la ropa trate de usar tonos oscuros como un azul marino con el cual forme una especie camisa de mantas largas y cuello altos; luego con tonos cercanos al blanco forme una especia de blusa de una manga hasta el largo del codo y el otro lado sin manga.*

At the end I only dedicated myself to set the whole scenario as if it were a kind of subway cave, in this case I looked for much more intense shades of blue, with an electric blue I was forming the walls of the cave giving a kind of circular shape to everything, something important at this stage was to use a square tip brush to give those irregular edges to the entire cave; then with a full dark blue I was in charge of darkening the bottom of the cave to give a little more perspective of depth to the stage. Finally with my cloud brush and another Krita brush with a rough tip I created a kind of swirl effect coming out of the mouth of (Jindra), with this I wanted to show the magical icy powers of the character.
>*Al final solo me dedique a ambientar todo el escenario como se fuese una especie de cueva subterránea, en este caso busque tonos de azul muchos más intensos, con un azul eléctrico fui formando las paredes de la cueva dándole una especie de forma circular a todo, algo importante en esta etapa fue usar un pincel de punta cuadrada para darle esos bordes irregulares a toda la cueva; luego con un azul full oscuro me encargue de oscurecer el fondo de la cueva para darle un poco más de perspectiva de profundidad al escenario. Ya por último con mi pincel de nubes y otro pincel de punta rugosa de Krita cree una especie de efecto de remolino saliendo de la boca de (Jindra), con esto lo que buscaba era mostrar los poderes mágicos helados del personaje.*
