Hello my dear people of Hive, happy Wednesday for all of you who are here and welcome to a new art post, today I want to return to the theme of (Melancholy); this is a collection of drawings on this theme that I started last year and in which I try to capture a little of the feeling of sadness or pain in some of my works. The one of today is a drawing which I decided to title The last Hope, in which we see a pretty girl with blond and shiny hair whose name curiously is Hope, I decided to call it this way because I liked it a lot and I thought it would be a good touch for what I wanted to transmit of this character; without more I leave you with the process of my work:
>*Hola mi querida gente de Hive, feliz miércoles para todos los que están por aquí y sean bienvenidos a un nuevo post de arte, el día de hoy quiero retomar un poco la temática de (Melancolia); esta es una colección de dibujos sobre dicha temática que inicie el año pasado y en la cual trato de plasmar un poco del sentimiento de tristeza o dolor en algunas de mis obras. La del día de hoy es un dibujo al cual decidí titular La ultima Esperanza, en la cual vemos a una linda chica de cabellos rubios y brillante que cuyo nombre curiosamente es Esperanza, decidí llamar la así pues me gustó mucho y me pareció que seria un buen toque para lo que quería transmitir de este personaje; sin mas los dejo con el proceso de mi obra:*

To start with my drawing I had to devise a way for the drawing to take on a meaning or form, for this I decided to create a kind of foreground from the bottom where you can see Esperanza staring sadly at the sky looking for responses to your pain; After having my idea well defined, it was there that I dedicated myself to looking for some good colors to try to build Esperanza's character in a good way.
>*Para empezar con mi dibujo debía idear una forma de para que el dibujo cobrara un sentido o forma, para esto me decidí por crear una especie de primer plano desde la parte de abajo donde se puede apreciar a Esperanza mirando fija y tristemente hacia al cielo buscando respuestas a su dolor; luego de tener mi idea bien definida fue allí donde me dedique a buscar unos buenos colores para tratar de construir de buena manera al personaje de Esperanza.*

As this would be a work with a little sadness theme I decided to make a union or mixture perhaps of warm colors along with cold colors to try a little and try to make a drawing that would stand out a lot; to the skin first of all I gave a light touch of blush to the cheeks and nose. Then I created darker strokes along with some very bright ones to give a little volume to the skin; I continued painting a textured layer of small freckles on the cheekbones and around the eyes, finally I focused more on the eyes and used more striking tones such as bright green along with a soft red on the lips.
>*Como esta se trataría de una obra con una temática un poco de tristeza me anime a hacer una unión o mezcla quizá de colores cálidos junto con colores fríos para probar un poco y tratar de hacer un dibujo que resaltara mucho; a la piel primero que nada le di ligeros toque de rubor a mejillas y nariz. Luego cree trazos mas oscuros junto con algunos muy brillantes para dar un poco de volumen a la piel; contine pintando una capa de textura de pequeñas pecas en la parte de los pómulos y alrededor de los ojos, finalmente me centre mas en los ojos y use tonos más llamativos como fue el verde brillante junto con un rojo suave en los labios.*

As I told you before my idea was to make a union of warm colors with cold colors, that's why I decided to paint Esperanza's clothes with a dark and intense purple color with a tendency to blue tones that I found in my color palette; I decided to paint a kind of silk shirt with a high neck and long sleeves. I created some texture to the shirt with some small lines to resemble certain wrinkles on the sleeves and other areas; after the shirt I moved on to painting the hair where from the beginning I knew it would be blonde, but I had to scale a lot of colors to get a good blonde look.
>*Como les dije antes mi idea era la de hacer una unión de colores cálidos junto a colores fríos, es por ello que decidí pintar la vestimenta de Esperanza con un color morado oscuro e intenso con tendencia a tonos azules que me encontré por allí en mi paleta de colores; decidí pintar una especie de camisa de seda con cuello alto y mangas largas. Cree cierta textura a la camisa con algunas líneas pequeñas para asemejar ciertas arrugas en las mangas y otras zonas; después de la camisa me pase al pintado del cabello donde desde un inicio sabia que seria rubio, pero tuve que escalar muchos los colores para conseguir una buena apariencia rubia.*

For the end what I had left to do was to give a little more sense to my drawing, and for this I had to paint a good background that would fit the character and the theme, for this I first tried to paint a kind of evening sky with a sun hiding maybe; but then I decided to go towards the cold tones and therefore I painted better an open balcony night. I painted some clouds in the sky as if it was about to start raining, I also painted a moon as if it was in its 4th waning phase, basically because the idea came to me suddenly and that's it, hahahahahah; finally, I applied the illumination filter to correct a little bit because it seemed to me that I went a little bit too much with the cold tones.
>*Para el final lo que me quedaba por hacer era darle un poco mas de sentido a mi dibujo, y para esto debía pintar un buen fondo que se acoplara al personaje y a la temática, para esto primero intente pintar una especie de cielo de tarde con un sol ocultándose quizá; pero luego decidí irme hacia los tonos fríos y por ello pinte mejor una noche abierta de balcón. Pinte algunas nubes en el cielo como si estuviera a punto de empezar a llover, también pinte una luna como en fase de 4to menguante, básicamente pues porque se me ocurrió la idea de pronto y ya jajajaj; por último, aplique un poco el filtro iluminación para corregir un poco pues me pareció que me excedí un poco con los tonos fríos.*
