Very good evening my dear ✌🏽 people lover of rare characters and card games, today I come with a new entry for the dynamics of each week in the great community of #Splinterlands; this week I wanted to retamar a little the theme of warriors or warriors as is this case, and therefore I chose for my participation the card of (Naga Warrior). This was a letter that when I found it there a couple of weeks ago I knew I had to illustrate it, and it is because it has a very exciting and interesting story; (Naga Warrior) belongs to a people of fervent and fierce warriors who are able to fight to the death, they are a tribe that fights for the simple desire to see the blood flow in combat:
>*Muy buenas noches mi querida ✌🏽 gente amante de los personajes raros y los juegos de cartas, hoy vengo con una nueva entrada para la dinámica de cada semana en la grandiosa comunidad de #Splinterlands; esta semana quise retamar un poco la temática de guerreros o guerreras como es este caso, y por ello elegí para mi participación la carta de (Naga Warrior). Esta fue una carta que cuando la encontré por allí hace un par de semanas atrás sabia que debía ilustrarla, y es porque cuenta con una historia bastante emocionante e interesante; (Naga Warrior) pertenece a un pueblo de fervientes y feroces guerreros que son capaces de combatir hasta la muerte, son una tribu que pelea por el simple deseo de ver correr la sangre en combate:*

To begin to capture my idea on the canvas what I did was to imagine (Naga Warrior), his facial expression, also more or less how his personality would be, and with that idea I began to build a base outline of his body; I chose to create his sketch as if he was standing half back, turning slightly to the front with a rather gloomy and bloody smile as the same personality of this creature. For the coloring of this character I opted for a soft color palette, I painted the skin with a light brown color and the lower area that would be the reptilian part of the body I painted with a very faint green; for the base of the clothing I used a light gray color to give a little variety to the painting.
>*Para empezar a plasmar mi idea en el lienzo lo que hice fue imaginar a (Naga Warrior), su expresión facial, también mas o menos como seria su personalidad, y con esa idea comencé a construir un delineado base de su cuerpo; opté por crear su boceto como de si estuviera parada de media espalda, volteándose levemente hacia el frente con una sonrisa bastante tétrica y sangrienta como la misma personalidad de esta criatura. Para el coloreado de este personaje opte por una paleta de colores un poco suave, la piel la pinte de un color marrón claro y la zona inferior que sería la parte de reptil del cuerpo la pinte con un verde muy tenue; para la base de la vestimenta use un color gris claro para dar un poco de variedad al pintado.*

In the last days I have been trying a little bit the painting of the volume and the textures with slightly dispersed square tip brushes, with this I think that a better mixture of the base tones with the upper tones like the light and the deep tones like the shadows is achieved; I also mix a little with the finger brush and spread a little softer strokes with watercolor for a final detailing of the skin. For the eyes in this case I worked with many warm tones like orange, red, yellow, ect; the base of the eyeball I painted entirely with the orange range of colors and likewise I gave the volume; on this orange base I began to paint what is the inner iris of the eyes with bright yellow tones to give a little reptilian appearance to my drawing and above all better expression in the look.
>*En los últimos días he ido probando un poco el pintado del volumen y las texturas con pinceles de punta cuadrada levemente dispersas, con esto me parece que se logra una mejor mezcla de los tonos bases con los tonos superiores como la luz y los tonos profundos como el de las sombras; igualmente mezclo un poco con el pincel de dedo y esparzo trazos un poco mas suaves con acuarela para un ultimo detallado de la piel. Para los ojos en este caso trabaje con muchas tonalidades cálidas como los tonos naranja, rojo, amarillo, ect; la base del globo ocular la pinte enteramente con la gama de colores naranja y así mismo le di el volumen; sobre esta base naranjas comencé a pintar lo que es el iris interno de los ojos con tonos amarillos brillantes para dar un poco de apariencia reptiliana a mi dibujo y sobre todo mejor expresión en la mirada.*

In the next step I dedicated myself to give shape to the lower part of the body, that is to say to the part that looks like a reptile or snake, what I did with the tail basically was to create a little volume and relief by slightly sectioning the tail with slight bumps or curves in a general way; then with a fine tip brush I was detailing a little these sections to achieve a better realism. For the final part of this section of the tail I created a layer in multiply mode and with the yellow color I painted what would be the varied coloring or vertical pattern that has the skin of the snakes in the parts of the center; then I lowered the opacity of the layer to 70% and with this I got that the yellow was better coupled to the tail without the need to give it its own texturing and volume apart.
>*En el siguiente paso me dediqué a darle forma a la parte baja del cuerpo, es decir a la parte que tiene apariencia de reptil o serpiente, lo que hice con la cola básicamente fue ir creando un poco de volumen y relieve seccionando levemente la cola con leves bultos o curvas de manera general; luego con un pincel de punta fina fui detallando un poco estas secciones para logra un mejor realismo. Para la parte final de este apartado de la cola cree una capa en modo multiplicar y con el color amarillo pinte lo que sería el colorido variado o patrón vertical que tiene la piel de las serpientes en las partes del centro; después baje la opacidad de la capa a un 70% y con esto conseguí que el amarillo se acoplara mejor a la cola sin necesidad de darle su propio texturizado y volumen aparte.*

The painting of the clothing was quite simple, here I focused on creating a kind of silk texture for the part that covers the bust of (Naga Warrior), and for a few more areas of the lower torso, here the joke is to use a shade of brown very close to the white and gray, but not so extreme because then the clothes would not look quite good and realistic; for the hair I only dedicated myself to loosen my hand a little and make freer strokes so the green hair would look more natural and cool. I complemented a little bit the character creating a little bit of glitter to the jewels that she wears in different areas of her body, for example, in the kind of headbands of her forehead I used yellow and white tones together with square brushes to achieve a good texture of precious metal; and for the earrings or earrings I used the same tones, but with finer brushes since these are relatively smaller and the glitter had to be even more precise.
>*El pintado de la vestimenta fue bastante sencillo, aquí me centre en crear una especie de textura de seda para la parte que cubre el busto de (Naga Warrior), y para unas cuantas zonas mas de la parte baja del torso, aquí el chiste es usar un tono de marrón muy cercano a los blancos y grises, pero no tan al extremo pues entonces no se vería del todo bien y realista la ropa; para el pelo solo me dedique a soltar un poco la mano y a realizar trazos más libres para que el pelo verde cobrera una naturalidad más cool. Complemente un poco al personaje creándole un poco de brillos a las joyas que porta en distintas zonas de su cuerpo, por ejemplo, en la especie de diademas de su frente use tonos amarillos y blancos junto con pinceles cuadrados para lograr una buena textura de metal precioso; y para los aretes o sarcillos use los mismos tonos, pero con pinceles más finos ya que estos son relativamente mas pequeños y los brillos debían ser aún más precisos.*

For the final part I only had to create the weapons with which (Naga Warrior) holds his fierce and bloody battles, for the sword I used a lot of gray color between dark and light, along with a little white for the details of the shines and edges of the sword; to create the shield I had to make much use of the browns until reaching the darkest browns and thus to achieve an appearance of wood even more resistant, in addition by the edges of the shield I painted details in metal to make the shield look a little more solid. I always create a background to accompany my drawings and this would not be the exception, basically what I did was to create a kind of battlefield in the background with lots of red, brown and scarlet; I painted some kind of red and orange smoke trails to give perspective that the background is on fire; as a final touch for the character I decided to create a new layer in (burn) mode and painted what would be blood stains on the shield, sword and certain parts of the body of (Naga) and with this I managed to fully capture his bloody personality.
>*Para la parte final solo me quedaba por crear las armas con las cuales (Naga Warrior) sostiene sus fieras y sangrientas batallas, para la espada use mucho color gris entre oscuro y claro, junto con un poco de blanco para los detalles de los brillos y filos de la espada; para crear el escudo si tuve que hacer mucho uso de los marrones hasta llegar a los marrones mas oscuros y así poder conseguir una apariencia de madera aún más resistente, adicional por los bordes del escudo pinte detalles en metal para hacer ver el escudo un poco más sólido. Siempre acostumbro crear un fondo que acompañe a mis dibujos y esta no sería la excepción, básicamente lo que hice fue crear una especie de campo de batalla en al background con mucho color rojo, marrón y escarlata; pinte unas especies de estelas de humo rojo y naranja para dar perspectiva de que el fondo esta en llamas; como ultimo toque para el personaje decidí crea una nueva capa en modo (burn) y pinte lo que serian manchas de sangre en el escudo, espada y ciertas partes del cuerpo de (Naga) y con esto logre plasmar completamente su personalidad sangrienta.*
