Black and White photography has a timeless aesthetic sensation: it produces in the viewer something that is sometimes difficult to describe, for this reason, despite the continuous technological innovation and the increasing massification of devices, whether smartphones or digital cameras; many photographers refuse to completely abandon Black and White art.

A Black and White image is both abstract and astonishingly real at the same time. In this sense, the absence of color in them is something strange, and perhaps it is this quality that makes them so intriguing.

Recently, searching in my photographic archive for material to create content, I found a large collection of color photographs that I had taken a few years ago, while traveling in short walks, usually on weekends or Sundays, part of the national territory in the company of my girlfriend at the time, and that for obvious reasons, I can no longer share in my traditional social networks, but nevertheless, maintain aesthetic validity, so I chose some to edit them and share them with all of you.

The photographs were taken with different devices in different places, such as the Lomas de Cubiro (Cubiro Hills), in the state of Lara; in a sunflower field on the side of the "José Antonio Páez" Highway, on the outskirts of the National Sanctuary of Our Lady of Coromoto, near the city of Guanare; in the Exotic Tropical Flora Park in the neighboring state of Yaracuy, on Los Lanceros Street in the city of Puerto Cabello and "Morrocoy" National Park in the state of Falcón.

Finally, as I have described in previous posts, I use the editing tools provided by the free versions of the applications Picsart and Snapseed, with which I am quite familiar, to process the photographs.

> *Las fotografías fueron tomadas con diferentes dispositivos en diversos lugares, como las Lomas de Cubiro, en el estado Lara; en un sembradío de girasoles a un costado de la Autopista José Antonio Páez, en las afueras del Santuario Nacional de Nuestra Señora de Coromoto, en las cercanías de la ciudad de Guanare; en el Parque de la Exótica Flora Tropical en el vecino estado Yaracuy, y en la Calle Los Lanceros de la ciudad de Puerto Cabello, y el Parque Nacional Morrocoy en el estado Falcón*
