<div class="text-justify">

Snakes are reptiles or animals characterized by the absence of legs, very elongated body and skin covered with scales.

Since ancient times, some civilizations have venerated or appreciated snakes, while in others they are repudiated. In Western civilization, mainly in the Judeo-Christian culture, the snake represents the Devil and everything related to evil; on the contrary, in the Far East it is considered a sacred animal that symbolizes strength and wisdom.

A few weeks ago while I was visiting the Flor de Venezuela Cultural Center, I met this young man, an employee of this institution and evidently familiar with this animal species, holding in his hands a pair of non-poisonous snakes for those who wished to approach them, or even touch or photograph them.

As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
