Dicen que no has ido a China si no visitas por la Gran Muralla. Pues fui a China y vaya si la visite. 

Volvemos a Beijing, donde comenzó este viaje, luego de darnos un buen paseo por Shenzhen que ojalá algún día vuelva a esta ciudad. Esta vez para llegarnos a una sección de la Gran Muralla China que quedaba bastante cerca de la ciudad. En apenas una hora llegamos al lugar con mucho frío por la altura y con cada escalón que dabas, bajaba un poco más esa temperatura.

No hay dudas que esta es una de las 7 maravillas del mundo y con muchas razones. No puedo ni imaginar como pudieron construir tantos kilómetros de esta muralla a través de las montañas, pues la altura no era poca cosa y el terreno no es algo sencillo de solventar. Solo subir los distintos tramos me costó muchísimo. Nunca había hecho ejercicio en un ambiente tan frío, mis pulmones no están adaptados a eso. Por suerte, pude subir casi hasta la cima de la sección donde estábamos, todo por tomar altura y poder traerles unas buenas vistas (las verán en el siguiente post). Hoy quiero mostrarles la Gran Muralla en sí, al menos mi forma de verla, no quería hacer las típicas imágenes que pueden encontrar en internet.

¿Por qué en blanco y negro? Más allá de que me encanta este tipo de edición, el día que fui había mucha nubosidad y poco sol, incluso se puede ver un poco de niebla a lo lejos. Esto se presta mucho para este tipo de ediciones, de forma que no necesites enfocarte en los detalles del cielo al no existir casi ninguno. Resaltando así todo lo demás y fui un poco más allá, dándole un buen contraste que me encanta para los paisajes.

They say you haven't been to China if you don't visit the Great Wall. Well, I went to China and indeed I visited it.

We return to Beijing, where this journey began, after taking a nice stroll through Shenzhen, hoping to come back to this city someday. This time to get to a section of the Great Wall of China that was quite close to the city. In just one hour, we arrived at the place, feeling very cold due to the altitude, and with every step we took, the temperature dropped a little more.

There is no doubt that this is one of the 7 wonders of the world and for many reasons. I can't even imagine how they could build so many kilometers of this wall through the mountains, as the height was no small feat and the terrain is not easy to tackle. Just climbing the different sections was very difficult for me. I had never exercised in such a cold environment, my lungs were not used to it. Luckily, I was able to climb almost to the top of the section where we were, all to gain altitude and bring you some good views (you will see them in the next post). Today, I want to show you the Great Wall itself, at least my way of seeing it, I didn't want to take the typical images that you can find on the internet.

Why in black and white? Apart from the fact that I love this type of editing, the day I went there was a lot of cloud cover and little sun, you can even see some fog in the distance. This lends itself well to this type of editing, so you don't need to focus on the details of the sky as there are hardly any. Highlighting everything else and going a bit further, giving it a good contrast that I love for landscapes.
