A big greeting to the entire @Hivepets community, this is my first post here and I was encouraged because, although I have never had a pet, now I have 4 that I want to share with all of you.

My dad is a man who raises animals mainly pigs, goats, sheep, chickens and now rabbits so my daughters were in love with these animals that they saw every time we visited them. One day he decided to give each one a bunny and we took Sarita and Morita, the white rabbits, home.

>Mi papá es un hombre que cría animales principalmente cochinos, chivos, borregos, gallinas y ahora conejos así que mis hijas estaban enamoradas de estos animales que veían cada vez que los visitamos. Un día decidió regalarle una conejita a cada una y nos llevamos a la casa a Sarita y Morita que son las conejas blancas.

They were very small things but we had to wait about 35 days that they were already eating alone and were weaned to take them home and give them some food, vegetables and common grass. This is what 18-day-old bunnies look like.

>Eran unas cositas muy pequeñitas pero debimos esperar unos 35 días que ya comieran solos y estuviesen destetados para llevarlos a casa y darles algún alimentos, vegetales y hierba común. Así se ven los conejitos de 18 días de nacidos.

And this is how newborns look, for those who have never seen how rabbits are born. They don't really look very pretty. All that hair is pulled from her belly by her mother when she gives birth to keep them warm.

>Y así se ven recién nacidos, para aquellos que nunca han visto como nacen los conejos. No se ven muy bonitos la verdad. Todo ese pelo se lo arranca su madre de la barriga en el momento de dar a luz para mantenerlos calientes.

>Miranda ama a su conejita Morita, por ahora las reconocemos porque una tiene la cola un poco mas oscura que la otra y ella se encarga de colocarles agua en cada bebedero todas las mañanas. Esa tarea le encanta se siente muy grande. Realmente las conejas blancas son muy inquietas así que Sarita y Morita representan muy bien a nuestras hijas.

That led them to decide that we needed two more rabbits, one to be a mother and one to be her husband and that would be me. And what do you think? My very obedient dad gave us 2 more rabbits which are the gray ones.


>Eso las llevó a decidir que necesitábamos dos conejos mas, una para ser mamá y uno que fuera su esposo y que sería yo. Y que creen? Mi papá muy obediente nos regaló 2 conejos mas que son los grises.

So now we have 4 rabbits that represent each of us, the white ones are the reincarnation of Marcela and Miranda and the gray ones were baptized Mickey and Minnie (they say they are husbands). This soft and calm little ball of hair is Minnie, she is very cute and she loves to be in one place, she also likes to eat cucumber just like a mother in real life.

>Así que ahora tenemos 4 conejos que nos representan a cada uno de nosotros, las blancas son la reencarnación de Marcela y Miranda y los grises fueron bautizados como Mickey y Minnie (ellas dicen que son esposos). Esta bolita de pelos tierna y tranquila es Minnie, es muy tierna y le encanta estar en un solo sitio, también le gusta comer pepino tal cual como a mama en la vida real.

And the most handsome of all is Mickey, the adventurous and mischievous. Actually, if he looks like me because he eats everything, fruits, vegetables and all herbs, it is also a bit bad because he turns the water over after drinking and it seems to me that he is already beginning to show his character and his alpha male image. He is a little darker and has a nice white line on his face, in addition to gray eyes different from the others.


>Y el mas galán de todos es Mickey, el aventurero y travieso. En realidad si se parece a mi porque come de todo, frutas, vegetales y todas las hierbas, también es un poco malo porque voltea el agua después de beber y me parece que ya empieza a demostrar su carácter y su estampa de macho alfa. Es un poco mas oscuro y tiene una linda linea blanca en su cara, ademas de unos ojos grises diferentes a los demás.

Rabbits are a great option for families that do not have much space and have a small patio with herbs since they eat almost all of them, their care is not expensive and the truth is they are very tender, they all like them and you can find a great variety of races and colors. You can also keep them in a small cage at night for their protection, especially from dogs. For now we are happy with our pets and perhaps in the future we will have baby rabbits or grandchildren.

>Los conejos son una gran opción para las familias que no tienen mucho espacio y tienen un pequeño patio con hierbas ya que ellos comen casi todas, su cuidado no es costoso y la verdad son muy tiernas, a todos les gustan y puedes encontrar una gran variedad de razas y colores. También los puedes tener en una pequeña jaula durante la noche para su protección, sobre todo de perros. Por ahora estamos contentos con nuestras mascotas y quizás en un futuro tengamos crías o nietos conejos.
