With the Nintendo NES we got to know a large number of games that in general we could consider as extensive, although we also got to know quite short games and lacking a plot section, some disappointing and many others left us great impressions, which were reflected in immediate sequels.

Donkey Kong JR. or in its abbreviation, DK Jr., became the sequel of one of the most remembered games by gamers, "Donkey Kong", characterized for being one of the shortest and most successful games in history. This time Mario Bros. was the villain, and DK Jr. was the main protagonist and in charge of rescuing his father Donkey Kong.

We had great expectations with this sequel, and the results were not going to be disappointing. In this new version the successful idea of the original game was maintained, here we would go through 4 levels where the purpose was the same, to free DK Jr.'s father, the game had many phases, that is, we completed the 4 levels, and we would repeat with some adjustment in the difficulty level, and it all depended on our ability to see how far we could get.

To move, we did it vertically and horizontally through some lianas, to ascend faster, we could hold on to 2 lianas at the same time, and to descend faster it was the opposite, that is, holding only one liana, these aspects were important, mainly in the more difficult levels because the obstacles moved faster and we had to be very agile to overcome them.

In Level 1, we had 9 lianas and a simple system but it had to be overcome carefully, to support us in some displacements, we had the possibility of making a small jump, although these were limited to a certain height, because if we made very high jumps, our DK Jr. lost a life.

In Level 2, we found a trampoline, some surfaces that moved, as well as lianas and other suspended ropes that moved horizontally, here we found some birds that Mario was releasing to make it even more difficult to overcome the level.

Level 4, the last level before the restart with the second difficulty level, was a stage in which there were the keys to free Donkey Kong, the goal was to take these 6 keys to each lock at the top, once achieved, the Cage was opened and we won that stage.

Each new phase will have a higher level of difficulty, increasing the speed and quantity of objects that Mario releases. Personally I think that the fact of having these 4 levels with phases of increasing difficulty generated a fairly high challenge with which we could brag to other friends about the phases we had accessed. A great game that always deserves a chance, entertaining, fun and challenging.

Con la nintendo NES llegamos a conocer una gran cantidad de juegos que en lineas generales podíamos considerar como extensos, aunque también, llegamos a conocer juegos bastante cortos y con carencia de un apartado argumental, algunos decepcionantes y muchos otros nos dejaban grandes impresiones, que se veían reflejados en secuelas inmediatas.

Donkey Kong JR. o en su abreviatura, DK Jr., se convertía en la secuela de uno de los juegos más recordados por los gamers, "Donkey Kong", caracterizado por ser uno de los juegos más cortos y exitosos de la historia. En esta ocasión Mario Bros. era el villano, y DK Jr. el protagonista principal y encargado de rescatar a su padre Donkey Kong.

Teníamos grandes expectativas con esta secuela, y los resultados no iban a ser decepcionantes. En esta nueva versión se mantenía la idea exitosa del juego original, aquí iríamos a través de 4 niveles en donde el propósito era el mismo, liberar al Padre de DK Jr., el juego tenía muchas fases, es decir, completábamos los 4 niveles, y volvíamos a repetir con cierto ajuste en el nivel de dificultad, y ya todo dependía de nuestra habilidad para ver que tan lejos podíamos llegar.

Para desplazarnos, lo hacíamos de manera vertical  y horizontal a través de unas lianas, para ascender de forma más rápida, podíamos sujetarnos a la vez de 2 lianas, y para descender de manera más rápida era todo lo contrario, es decir, sujetados solo de una liana, estos aspectos eran importantes, principalmente en los niveles de mayor dificultad pues los obstáculos se desplazaban de forma más rápida y teníamos que ser muy ágiles para superarlos.

En el Nivel 1, teníamos 9 lianas y un sistema sencillo pero debía ser superado de forma cuidadosa, para apoyarnos en algunos desplazamientos, teníamos la posibilidad de hacer un pequeño salto, aunque estos se limitaban a cierta altura, pues si hacíamos saltos muy altos, nuestro DK Jr. perdía una vida.

En el Nivel 2, nos encontrábamos con un trampolín, algunas superficies que se desplazaban, al igual que lianas y otras cuerdas suspendidas que se movían de manera horizontal, aquí nos encontrábamos con algunas aves que iba liberando Mario para dificultar aún más la superación del nivel.

Para el nivel número 3, nos encontrábamos en un escenario bastante curioso, en el que se desplazaban cadenas eléctricas que iba soltando Mario, y algunas otras se movían únicamente de manera circular sobre las superficies en las que nos desplazábamos.

El nivel 4, último antes del reinicio con la segunda fase de dificultad, se trataba de un escenario en el que se encontraban las llaves para liberar a Donkey Kong, el objetivo era llevar estas 6 llaves hasta cada cerradura en la parte superior, una vez conseguido, se abría la Jaula y ganábamos dicha fase.

Cada nueva fase tendrá un mayor nivel de dificultad, aumentando la velocidad y cantidad de los objetos que libera Mario. En lo personal considero que el hecho de tener estos 4 niveles con fases de aumento de dificultad generaba un reto bastante alto con el que podíamos presumir con otros amigos a las fases que habíamos accedido. Un gran juego que merece siempre una oportunidad, entretenido, divertido y retador.

A mi este juego siempre me pareció muy tierno y mejorado del resto de los Donkey Kong, de hecho llegue a jugar los más avanzados en Super Nintendo y luego en Nintento Wii y no me gustaron mucho no se. Amé más el retro, a pesar de ser muy corto en historia. Pude pasar muchas horas jugando y jugando repitiendo los mundos. Ya llega un momento que todo desaparece y tienes que andar adivinando, pues solo aparecen las frutas.

Eso tuvo que haber sido al menos en una fase 25 o 30, verdad? era bastante triste cuando perdíamos y teníamos que volver a empezar, pero prácticamente se llegaba a un punto en el que todo, absolutamente todo, lo hacíamos por instinto, no me imagino esa dificultad, allí había que tener bien desarrollado el sentido espacial, aunque lo bueno era que teníamos que memorizar solo 4 niveles, agradezco tu visita y comentario estimada @equipodelta un abrazo, ten un excelente fin de semana!
