Hello @agmoore. I started my learning with Krita (you can download it from the internet).
I am learning to work with GIMP but my progress is slow.
There is an App for Tablet called Scketches. I don't have a tablet. I have seen watercolor drawings of people who did not know how to paint and they make very charming drawings. If you have a tablet I recommend this app

Thank you! I will surely check them out.  It has always been a dream to be able to express myself visually.  It's why I think I love the collages, and Gaugan.  These give me the experience of creating despite my limited talent.  Very kind of you to share that information with me.

@agmoore if you have tablet I suggest you this App developed by Giuseppe Ragazzini. He is a collagist known on Instagram for his digital collages and animations.
The App MIXERPIECE is a creative and educational app for kids (but one can also have fun and create).

You are amazingly kind.
I do have a tablet, gift from my daughter.  It is my toy.  I will have great fun with this, I know. Thank you very much.  Drawing, painting, art---another language.  I'll have to share what I learn, if this works out.
