Today I want to address a topic of global relevance that concerns everyone and I called it this way: **I am a Child... I Have the Right to Know my Rights** because according to what was stated by the General Assembly of the United Nations on November 20, 1989; where it was established that it is the duty of all *to ensure and guarantee the welfare and development of all children in the world* considering them *children as subjects of rights*, that is to say, that they are recognized as persons entitled to have rights; Thus promoting the construction of a fairer, more humane and necessary society; hence the great relevance for our current society that from early childhood every child knows that there is a law that protects, protects, respects and considers them; always placing in first place values such as *Responsibility* *Tolerance* *Empathy* *Respect* which are the fundamental pillars to live in harmony and in community.

>Hoy quiero abordar un tema de relevancia mundial que compete a todos y le denominé así: **Soy Niño…Tengo Derecho a Conocer mis Derechos** porque según lo afirmado por la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas el 20 de noviembre de 1989; donde se estableció que es menester de todos *asegurar y garantizar el bienestar y desarrollo de todos los niños del mundo* considerándolos *niños como sujeto de derecho*, es decir, que se les reconoce como personas con derecho a tener  derechos; impulsando con ello a la construcción de una sociedad más justa, más humana y necesaria; de allí la gran relevancia que tiene para nuestra sociedad actual que desde su primera infancia todo niño conozca que existe una ley que les ampara, protege, respeta y considera; colocando siempre en primer lugar valores como *Responsabilidad* *Tolerancia* *Empatía* *Respeto* que son los pilares fundamentales para vivir en armonía y en comunidad.

That is why it was established that children have the right to live, to enjoy and have good health; also to study, play and rest; to be loved by their family and live in a healthy environment; to be treated equally without taking into account race, clergy or customs; not to be exploited, not to work before the minimum legal age;  to freedom of expression; to be protected from mistreatment, abuse and illicit substances; to be the first to be attended to in the event of any natural disaster; to be protected in situations of war or armed conflict; all of this, considering that they are the most vulnerable to any irregular situation and it is the responsibility of the family to protect them. However, children who do not have a family, for one reason or another, are the responsibility of government authorities.

>Es por ello, que se estableció que los niños tienen derecho a vivir, a disfrutar y a tener buena salud; también a estudiar, jugar y descansar; a ser amados por su familia y vivir en un ambienta sano; a ser tratados en igualdad sin tomar en cuenta la raza, el clero o las costumbres; a no ser explotados, no se debe trabajar antes de que se cumpla la edad mínima legal;  a la libertad de expresión; a ser protegidos del maltrato, el abuso y de las sustancias ilícitas; a ser los primeros que se atiendan ante cualquier desastre natural; a ser protegidos en situaciones de guerra o conflictos armados; todo ello, considerando que son los mas vulnerables ante cualquier situación irregular y es responsabilidad de la familia su protección. Sin embargo, los niños que no poseen familia, por una u otra razón, son responsabilidad de las autoridades gubernamentales.
