Espero que tengan un muy lindo día, en busca de un tema para mi post de hoy me encontré con esta interesante iniciativa de @tibaire donde nos invita a hablar sobre el poder de nuestro nombre, su origen y significado, luego de ver la participación de mi amiga @helloisalbani me interesé en unirme a la iniciativa ya que, aunque desconozco la verdadera historia de mi nombre alguna vez llegué a escuchar el motivo por el cual lo llevo  y además he leído un poco sobre lo que significa cada uno por separado, lo que me ha llevado a compartirles el día de hoy este post, espero que sea de su agrado, ya sin más, les cuento acerca de mi nombre._

_Como verán, mi nombre es bastante simple y común, **María José**, un nombre que tanto unido como por separado es de los más escuchados, y aunque pudiera ser fácil para mí de niña aprender mi nombre y escribirlo debo admitir que nunca me gustó el nombre que llevo, si les soy sincera siempre me pareció “feo”, no les voy a mentir, todavía a día de hoy no me gusta para nada, lo que si es que con el paso del tiempo ya es algo que me da completamente por igual, es decir, es solo un nombre y ya, no es mal de morirse, pero sigue sin gustarme._

_Recuerdo una vez de niña haber preguntado el porqué de mi nombre a lo que recuerdo vagamente como respuesta que se debía a mi papá y a mi bisabuela materna, les cuento, mi papá se llama **José Antonio** y al parecer quería yo sí o si llevara el **José** así que debían combinarlo con otro nombre, y pues, cual mejor que **María**, mi nombre completo **María José** fue propuesto por mi bisabuela, una señora extremadamente católica y creyente de todo lo que tiene que ver con su religión, siendo ella una señora que formaba parte de la iglesia, la que estaba presente en cada rezo o evento religioso que se hacía en el pueblo y a la cual era muy reconocida por esa labor, pero en fin, ella propuso  **María José** como nombre para mi pensando en la **Beata María de San José**, lo cual en ese momento nunca supe lo que significaba, solo pensé que se trataba de algo religioso y ya, es decir, no creí que tuviera un significado sino que eligió esa figura religiosa solo por el nombre, sin embargo, leyendo un poco veo que se trata de una mujer religiosa venezolana que fue considerada como beata por la iglesia católica._

_I remember once as a child asking the reason for my name to which I vaguely remember as an answer that it was due to my father and my maternal great-grandmother, I tell you, my father's name is **José Antonio** and apparently I wanted yes or if it had **José**, so they had to combine it with another name, and well, what better than **María**, my full name **María José** was proposed by my great-grandmother, an extremely Catholic lady and believer in everything that has to do with her religion, being a lady who was part of the church, the one who was present at every prayer or religious event that took place in the town and who was highly recognized for that work, but anyway , she proposed **María José** as a name for me, thinking of **Blessed María de San José**, which at that moment I never knew what it meant, I just thought it was something religious and that is to say , I did not think it had a meaning but that he chose that religious figure only because of the name, however, I will Going a bit I see that it is a Venezuelan religious woman who was considered blessed by the Catholic Church._

_Investigando un poco sobre el significado de mi nombre he aprendido que tiene mucho que ver en el ámbito religioso, ya que el **María** se refiere a la madre de Dios, este nombre es de origen hebreo y deriva de  “Myriam” lo cual tiene como significado "Excelsa, elegida”._

_Mientras tanto **José** es también un nombre bíblico de origen hebreo que deriva de “Ioseph” o “Iosephus” y tienen como traducción: “Yavhé ha decidido borrar” (el primero) mientras que la traducción del segundo vendría siendo “Cuando Yavhé añade”._

_Si algo aprendí buscando el significado de mi nombre es que tiene más que ver con la religión de lo que yo pensaba, y para ser sincera la religión es un tema con el cual no me llevo porque simplemente no me atrae, respeto mucho las creencias de las personas pero en cuanto a mí personalmente les aseguro que no es lo mío a pesar del nombre que llevo, pero volviendo al tema, parece ser que este fue el nombre que les gustó para mí, elegido principalmente por mi bisabuela paterna y que en cierto modo cumplía con lo que mi papá quería que era que yo llevara el **José**, así que no este nombre todos estaban felices y mientras yo me quedé con un nombre que no me gusta pero que al fin y al cabo es con el cual me identifico._

_If I learned something looking for the meaning of my name, it is that it has more to do with religion than I thought, and to be honest, religion is a subject with which I do not get along because it simply does not attract me, I respect the beliefs of people but as for me personally I assure you that it is not my thing despite the name I carry, but going back to the topic, it seems that this was the name that they liked for me, chosen mainly by my paternal great-grandmother and that in a certain way In this way, it fulfilled what my dad wanted, which was that I carry the **José**, so not this name, everyone was happy and while I was left with a name that I do not like but that, after all, is with the Which one do I identify._

_Mi nombre sigue sin gustarme pero como ya les mencioné a estas alturas ya es algo que no me importa, ya me acostumbré, sin embargo, siempre he preferido que se refieran a mí solo como **María**, nunca me ha gustado que mencionen mis dos nombres juntos, de hecho, los únicos que me dicen **María José** son algunos familiares, pero del resto es solo María y siempre que me presento es solo con ese nombre, pero a pesar de eso, la gente siempre termina deduciendo que mi segundo nombre es **José** porque es lo más común._
