Hoy finalmente puedo compartir mi entrada a la edición 59 del concurso semanal de la comunidad [Ladies of Hive](https://ecency.com/hive-124452/@ladiesofhive/ladies-of-hive-community-contest-59) luego de hacer un poco de tiempo para descansar de las manualidades navideñas en las que he estado trabajando, no podía perderme este concurso ya que las preguntas de esta semana son relacionadas a esta bella época que además es mi favorita del año, así que aprovecharé la oportunidad para compartir mis tradiciones en navidad y mis adornos navideños favoritos, un poco tarde pero seguro y espero que les guste mi entrada.

Today I can finally share my entry to the 59th issue of the [Ladies of Hive](https://ecency.com/hive-124452/@ladiesofhive/ladies-of-hive-community-contest-59) weekly community contest later to take a little time to rest from the Christmas crafts that I have been working on, I could not miss this contest since the questions this week are related to this beautiful time that is also my favorite of the year, so I will take the opportunity to share my Christmas traditions and my favorite Christmas decorations, a little late but sure and I hope you like my post.

Si de tradición se trata hacer hallacas para navidad es de las mejores y una de mis favoritas, el simple hecho de acercarse el mes de diciembre me llena de emoción porque entre tantas cosas lindas que tiene este mes la tradición de hacer hallacas en familia es de las cosas más esperadas durante todo el año, planear la reunión familiar para reunirse a hacer hallacas juntos y así comer la primera hallaca del año y disfrutar de ese momento familiar en época navideña.

If it's tradition to make Hallacas for Christmas, it is one of the best and one of my favorites, the simple fact of approaching the month of December fills me with emotion because among so many beautiful things that this month has, the tradition of making Hallucas as a family is one of the most anticipated things throughout the year, planning the family reunion to meet up to make Hallas together and thus eat the first Hallas of the year and enjoy that family moment at Christmas time.

Otra de mis tradiciones favoritas y la vez más común en mi familia es hacer un intercambio de regalos en navidad, algo que también se le conoce como el amigo secreto, esta es también una tradición que me gusta mucho porque es una gran oportunidad de compartir con nuestros seres queridos, de dar y recibir regalos, aun cuando no se trate de un gran regalo lo importante es dar y recibir un presente a un familiar o amigo para hacerle sentir querido y sin duda es algo que forma parte del espíritu navideño.

Another of my favorite traditions and the most common time in my family is to exchange gifts at Christmas, something that is also known as the secret friend, this is also a tradition that I really like because it is a great opportunity to share with our loved ones, to give and receive gifts, even when it is not a great gift, the important thing is to give and receive a present to a family member or friend to make them feel loved and without a doubt it is something that is part of the Christmas spirit.

Por último, pero no menos importante está la tradición de reunirse con la familia y amigos, en especial con esos que no hemos visto en todo el año y diciembre es la época perfecta para hacerlo, en lo personal amo esos pequeños viajes que hacemos en familia para visitar y reunirnos con la familia en navidad y a la vez compartir con amigos, es de mis cosa favoritas y esa que tanto me llena de emoción por hacer un reencuentro.

Last but not least is the tradition of meeting with family and friends, especially with those that we have not seen throughout the year and December is the perfect time to do it, personally I love those little trips that we do as a family To visit and meet with the family at Christmas and at the same time share with friends, it is one of my favorite things and the one that fills me so much with emotion to make a reunion.

Hace 2 años que mi pareja y yo compramos nuestra propia casa y desde entonces poco a poco he ido comprando o incluso haciendo mis propios adornos, los 2 años anteriores no había podido comprar un arbolito, por lo tanto debí armar uno de pared con algunos materiales y aunque no es lo ideal es realmente lindo y le da un toque navideño al hogar, para ello elaboré muchos adornos en foami para poder decorarlo y todos me encantan, de hecho, aun los conservo, recientemente este año logré comprar mi primer arbolito de navidad y fue posible gracias a Hive, el arbolito pertenecía a mi amiga @genesishernandez el cual incluía algunos adornos además de las luces, así que por fin, esta navidad tengo mi primer arbolito y eso me hace muy feliz, disfruté mucho armarlo y decorarlo y hoy en día luce hermoso y le da ese toque navideño a mi hogar.

2 years ago my partner and I bought our own house and since then little by little I have been buying or even making my own ornaments, the previous 2 years I had not been able to buy a little tree, therefore I had to build a wall one with some materials And although it is not ideal, it is really cute and gives a Christmas touch to the home, for this I made many ornaments in foami to decorate it and I love them all, in fact, I still have them, recently this year I managed to buy my first Christmas tree and it was possible thanks to Hive, the tree belonged to my friend @genesishernandez which included some ornaments in addition to the lights, so finally, this Christmas I have my first tree and that makes me very happy, I really enjoyed putting it together and decorating it and today in daytime it looks beautiful and gives that Christmas touch to my home.

Como ya mencioné, la mayoría de los adornos del árbol los elaboré yo misma, amo hacer manualidades y en esta época es cuando más me gusta hacerlo, hay 2 de ellos en particular que son mis favoritos y son unos lindos adornos en foami con el nombre de mi pareja y el mío, los hice el año pasado al ver la nueva tendencia de las esferas de navidad con los nombre de los integrantes de la familia, quise hacer mi propia versión de estas y se me ocurrió hacerlas en foami como todo lo que hago, las decoré a mi gustó y a decir verdad me encantan y este año las coloqué en mi nuevo arbolito de navidad.

As I already mentioned, most of the tree ornaments I made myself, I love to do crafts and at this time is when I like to do it the most, there are 2 of them in particular that are my favorites and they are beautiful ornaments in foami with the name of my partner and mine, I made them last year when I saw the new trend of Christmas spheres with the names of the family members, I wanted to make my own version of these and it occurred to me to make them in foami like everything else. I do, I decorated them to my liking and to tell the truth I love them and this year I placed them in my new Christmas tree.
