# Primeros pasos en dCrops - Tutorial

Saludos amigos!!

Desde hace tiempo estoy con muchas ganas de iniciar en un grandioso juego NFT disponible en la blockchain de Hive, pero cada vez que entraba allí me sentía perdida y sin ideas de que hacer allí y cómo jugar.

Se trata de dCrops, un juego con cartas NFT con la temática de granja, donde simularán sembrar cultivos por estaciones climáticas, primavera, verano, otoño e invierno, cada temporada tiene sus cultivos específicos y estos generan recompensas al final de cada temporada. 

Por dónde empezar, esa era mi gran duda, fue una pregunta que le hice al amigo @fragozar01  en una actividad en vivo donde estábamos participando y el me guio indicando los primeros pasos a seguir y aprovechando que apenas está comenzando la temporada de verano me anime a comenzar. 

Aquí les comparto mi experiencias, los primeros pasos, quise hacerlo estilo tutorial para que otros que tengan dudas como yo se puedan guiar e iniciar, recordando que no son consejos de inversión, pero seamos claros, ¿quien no confiaría en un juego vinculado a la cadena de bloques de Hive? muchos ya lo están haciendo y han obtenido buenas recompensas por jugar, así que no está mal investigar y arriesgarse un poco, sobre todo por el respaldo y estabilidad que tiene nuestra querida blockchain.

Para ingresar al juego puedes ir a la parte de Wallet o Billetera de PeakD, en la sección “games” y alli te apareceran la lista de juegos disponibles en la cadena de bloques de Hive, y encontrarás dCrops, es solo dar click en el icono del juego y te abre la página, debes tener la extensión de Hive Keychain para ingresar al juego, así como lo muestro en la imagen:

Otra opción es, si quieres jugar desde tu celular, ingresando por la aplicación de Hive Keychain, allí vas a la opción Browser, luego seleccionas la opción “Gaming” y te deben aparecer varios juegos también, incluido dCrops, abres el juego y entras usando tu nombre su usuario de Hive, el llavero te va a pedir una autorización y listo, entras la juego.

Al entrar al juego te encuentras con esta parte donde te dejan una serie de misiones a cumplir, estas se renuevan en cada estación o temporada como mencione antes,  si las cumples todas te ganas un cofre con regalos y recompensas. 

Lo primero que hay que tomar en cuenta es que jugar en dCrops no es gratis, debes invertir algunas monedas para obtener los recursos necesarios para poner en marcha tu granja, yo no tenía mucho para gastar pero se me ocurrio hacer uso de todas esas moneditas acumuladas en tokens en mi wallet de Hive Engine, cambie varios tokens a swap.hive, que es la moneda equivalente a Hive que se debe tener allí en la billetera de Hive Engine para poder comprar las cartas en el mercado NFT del juego dCrops. 

Las cartas que debemos tener para jugar se consiguen en la pestaña “Market” o “Mercado”, allí es donde debemos ir para buscar las cartas que necesitamos para comenzar a plantar nuestros cultivos, esto es por que para esta fecha no hay disponibles pack de cartas para comprar y jugar, así que la única forma de obtenerlas es en el mercado interno del juego. 

Un detalle importante es que como son compras que estamos haciendo, cada transacción se debe confirmar con el llavero de Hive Keychain.

Para esta temporada necesito cartas de cultivos de la estación Verano, también tierras para sembrar, así que la primera carta que compre fue un lote de tierra para sembrar, en la imagen pueden ver el proceso, es muy facil, solo seleccionas la carta en la lista que te aparecen allí disponibles, buscas la que tenga el precio que quieres, yo seleccione la mas economica, y tambien verifique una parte allí que dice que no está en uso, supongo que debemos revisar eso antes de comprar por si acaso. En total compré tres cartas de lote de tierra. 

Luego fui a ver las semillas disponibles y las que me piden para cumplir las misiones, me di cuenta que hay misiones que requieren cartas muy costosas, como plantar Blueberries por ejemplo, cada carta de esas cuesta más de 40 Hives, así que en definitiva no podré cumplir todas esas misiones, por eso me enfoque en hacer las misiones con las cartas de cultivos más económicos y con eso al final de la temporada veré como me va y si vale la pena esta estrategia.

Así que compré dos cartas de semillas de trigo y una carta de semillas de nabo, como lo ven allí en la imagen, te aparecen las especificaciones de la carta, cuanto produce y demás información útil.

Para sembrar las semillas, vamos a la pestaña donde el icono es un tractor, allí aparecen disponibles los lotes para sembrar y al darle click allí se abre una ventana con las semillas disponibles para sembrar, seleccionas la que deseas, solo aparecerán las que se puedan sembrar en la estación en la que está el juego. Damos click en el botón “plant” o “plantar” y luego abajo aparece otro botón verde para confirmar y enseguida nos pide la autorización del llavero , confirmamos y a partir de allí comienza a contarse el tiempo de cultivo de nuestras plantas. 

Para las plantas de trigo son 4 dias de espera y para la de nabo son 7 días, antes de sembrar debemos tener en cuenta los días que quedan de la temporada, por ejemplo yo hice esta siembra faltando 11 días para que termine, así que el tiempo es suficiente, y no se que pasaria si termina la temporada y aun el tiempo de la planta no ha se ha completado, así que es mejor prevenir para no perder el tiempo.

Otro detalle que aún tengo que confirmar es que las cartas, como son NFT, no se gastan, es decir siempre las tendras alli para usar en cada estación, pero me parece haber leído que después de cosecharse quedan en un periodo de enfriamiento, cuando termine el tiempo de cosechar estas plantitas verificare lo que sucede y les confirmo esto.

Y eso es todo, ya mi granja está en funcionamiento, ahora es solo esperar unos días para cosechar y ver qué otros pasos hay que seguir para completar el ciclo.

Tambien pense que era buena idea ir comprando algunas cartas de las próximas estaciones para guardarlas, quizás como no tienen tanta demanda al estar otra estacion vigente estén a mejor precio, eso es una suposición, pero tiene logica, asi que compre tres cartas super economicas, una de semillas de calabaza, una de semillas de zanahoria y por último una de semillas de ajo. 


En resumidas cuentas gaste máximo 10 Hive entre todas las compras que hice para poner a andar mi granja, me siento satisfecha por lograr comenzar por aquí e ir aprendiendo poco a poco y poder compartir este tutorial con mis amigos, que como yo quizás no se animaban a iniciar por falta de información detallada como la que les dejo en este post, espero que sea útil, mas adelante les contare mas detalles de mi progreso y lo que vaya aprendiendo en el camino.

# First steps in dCrops - Tutorial

Greetings friends!!!

For a long time I've been looking forward to start in a great NFT game available in the Hive blockchain, but every time I entered there I felt lost and without ideas of what to do there and how to play.

It is dCrops, a NFT card game with the farm theme, where you will simulate planting crops by climatic seasons, spring, summer, autumn and winter, each season has its specific crops and these generate rewards at the end of each season. 

Where to start, that was my big doubt, it was a question I asked my friend @Fragozar01 in a live activity where we were participating and he guided me indicating the first steps to follow and taking advantage of the fact that the summer season is just beginning, I decided to start. 

Here I share my experiences, the first steps, I wanted to do it tutorial style so that others who have doubts like me can be guided and start, remembering that these are not investment tips, but let's be clear, who would not trust a game linked to the Hive blockchain? many are already doing it and have obtained good rewards for playing, so it is not bad to investigate and risk a little, especially for the support and stability that has our beloved blockchain. 

To enter the game you can go to the Wallet part of PeakD, in the "games" section and there you will see the list of games available on the Hive blockchain, and you will find dCrops, just click on the icon of the game and the page will open, you must have the Hive Keychain extension to enter the game, as shown in the image:

Another option if you want to play from your cell phone is to enter through the Hive Keychain application, there you go to the Browser option, then select the "Gaming" option and several games should also appear, including dCrops, open the game and enter using your Hive username, the keychain will ask for authorization and ready, you enter the game. 

When you enter the game you find this part where you are left with a series of missions to complete, these are renewed in each season or season as I mentioned before, if you complete them all you win a chest with gifts and rewards. 

The first thing to take into account is that playing in dCrops is not free, you must invest some coins to obtain the necessary resources to start your farm, I did not have much to spend but I decided to make use of all those coins accumulated in tokens in my Hive Engine wallet, I changed several tokens to swap.hive, which is the equivalent currency to Hive that you must have there in the Hive Engine wallet to buy the cards in the NFT market of the dCrops game. 



The cards that we must have to play are obtained in the "Market" tab, that is where we must go to look for the cards we need to start planting our crops, this is because for this date there are no card packs available to buy and play, so the only way to get them is in the internal market of the game. 

An important detail is that as these are purchases that we are making, each transaction must be confirmed with the Hive Keychain. 

For this season I need crop cards of the Summer season, also land for planting, so the first card I bought was a lot of land for planting, in the image you can see the process, it is very easy, just select the card in the list that appears there available, look for the one that has the price you want, I selected the cheapest, and also check a part there that says that it is not in use, I guess we should check that before buying just in case. In total I bought three ground lot cards. 

Then I went to see the available seeds and the ones I am asked to fulfill the missions, I realized that there are missions that require very expensive cards, like planting Blueberries for example, each card of those costs more than 40 Hives, so ultimately I will not be able to fulfill all those missions, so I focus on doing the missions with the most economical crop cards and with that at the end of the season I will see how I do and if it is worth this strategy. 

So I bought two cards of wheat seeds and one card of turnip seeds, as you see there in the image, you get the specifications of the card, how much it produces and other useful information.

To sow the seeds, go to the tab where the icon is a tractor, there are available lots to sow and when you click there a window opens with the available seeds to sow, select the one you want, only those that can be sown in the season in which the game is. Click on the button "plant"  and then below appears another green button to confirm and then asks for the authorization of the keychain, confirm and from there begins to count the time of cultivation of our plants. 

For wheat plants are 4 days of waiting and for turnip plants are 7 days, before sowing we must take into account the remaining days of the season, for example I did this planting with 11 days to go, so the time is enough, and I do not know what would happen if the season ends and even the time of the plant has not been completed, so it is better to prevent to not waste time. 

Another detail that I still have to confirm is that the cards, as they are NFT, are not spent, that is to say you will always have them there to use in each season, but I seem to have read that after being harvested they are in a cooling period, when the time to harvest these plants is over I will verify what happens and I will confirm this.

And that's it, my farm is up and running, now it's just waiting a few days to harvest and see what other steps to follow to complete the cycle. 

I also thought it was a good idea to buy some cards of the next seasons to save them, maybe as they are not in demand because another season is in force they are at a better price, that's an assumption, but it has logic, so I bought three super economic cards, one of pumpkin seeds, one of carrot seeds and finally one of garlic seeds. 


In short, I spent a maximum of 10 Hive between all the purchases I made to start my farm, I feel satisfied for being able to start here and learn little by little and be able to share this tutorial with my friends, who like me perhaps did not dare to start for lack of detailed information as the one I leave in this post, I hope it is useful, later I will tell you more details of my progress and what I learn along the way.
