Hace días fui a visitar a una amiga y me comentaba que su pequeño de 2 años pide todo llorando a pesar que sabe hablar muy bien y no es que llora ni por tristeza ni por rabia sino que si quiere agua empieza a llorar y llorar en vez de pedir el agua, entonces mientras estuve allí pude observar y pude darme cuenta que ella se desesperaba y le decia deja la lloradera, pareces un bebé llorón, deja de pedir todo llorando y bueno yo también pase en un momento por este tipo de situación con mis pequeños y entiendo perfectamente lo que desespera escuchar a cada rato llantos y más cuando el niño ya sabe hablar pero en vez de hablar el pequeño empieza a utilizar el llanto para pedir las cosas, pero tranquila mami nosotros como padres debemos explicarle qué puede usar su voz y pedir las cosas en vez de llorar y en vez de decirle deja la lloriqueadera digamos: **hijo puedes decirme mamá quiero un vaso de agua** y a medida que ellos van creciendo van dejando de llorar por lo que necesiten y empezarán a usar su voz par comunicarse y expresar lo que necesitan.
>A few days ago I went to visit a friend and she told me that her 2 year old child asks for everything crying even though he knows how to talk very well and it is not that he cries neither for sadness nor for anger but if he wants water he starts crying and crying instead of asking for water, then while I was there I could observe and I could realize that she was desperate and I told her to stop crying, you look like a cry baby, stop asking for everything crying and well I also went through this kind of situation with my little ones and I perfectly understand how desperate it is to hear crying all the time and even more when the child already knows how to talk but instead of talking the little one starts to use crying to ask for things, but calm down mommy we as parents should explain to him that he can use his voice and ask for things instead of crying and instead of telling him stop crying let's say: **child can you tell me mommy I want a glass of water** and as they get older they will stop crying for whatever they need and will start using their voice to communicate and express what they need.
Pará los pequeños muchas veces no es tan fácil usar su voz para dar a entender a mamá y a papá lo que necesita pero nosotros para ayudarlos debemos entender nosotros qué debemos de enseñarlos a usar su voz sin avergonzarlos por su llanto y sin decirles deja la lloradera y ellos van cambiando su llanto por palabras acertivas para pedir lo que necesitan, pero somos nosotros lo que debemos de enseñarles como hacerlos sin decirles que no deben llorar para todo sino más bien llorar cuando sientan una emoción profunda y así puedan drenar su malestar y al aprender a usar su voz con sus palabras y no con el llanto sabrá que su voz puede ser escuchada.
>For the little ones many times it is not so easy to use their voice to let mom and dad understand what they need but to help them we must understand that we must teach them to use their voice without shaming them for their crying and without telling them to stop crying and they will change their crying for positive words to ask for what they need, but it is we who must teach them how to do it without telling them that they should not cry for everything but rather cry when they feel a deep emotion so they can drain their discomfort and by learning to use their voice with their words and not with crying they will know that their voice can be heard.
