Andrew es un joven baterista de Jazz, es un joven dispuesto a lo que sea por alcanzar su sueño, es bastante ambicioso y dedicado, este quiere ser el mejor baterista de Jazz, quiere ser reconocido, no quiere ser como su padre, el cual deseaba ser un escritor famoso y terminó siendo un profesor. Este se encuentra en la mejor escuela de música, pero eso no es suficiente, ya que quiere ser parte de la mejor Elite del instituto,que está dirigida por  Terence Fletcher, el profesor más exigente que podrán ver.

Esta película es increíblemente buena, nos muestra la otra cara de los artes más grandes, no todo es bonito, todo tiene su lado oscuro, la gente no llega a ser la más famosa así de la nada, todos llevan su camino, su esfuerzo y dedicación. A veces la gente no valora este tipo de trabajo porque sienten que no lo vale, que eso se obtiene fácil, frases como: estudio arte porque no sirvió para el estudio, estudio música porque no sabía que hacer con su vida, gastronomía porque no supo hacer más nada, y no saben en crudo transfondo de estas artes, nada es fácil, nada es regalado, ser el mejor en cualquier ámbito siempre costará. 

> This movie is incredibly good, it shows us the other side of the greatest arts, not everything is pretty, everything has its dark side, people don't become the most famous like that out of nowhere, everyone has their way, their effort and dedication. Sometimes people do not value this type of work because they feel that it is not worth it, that it is obtained easily, phrases like: I study art because it was not useful for the study, I study music because I did not know what to do with my life, gastronomy because I did not know to do nothing else, and they don't know the crude background of these arts, nothing is easy, nothing is given, being the best in any field will always cost.

La película nos muestra este frío profesor Fletcher, que trata mal a todo el mundo, nadie llega al nivel que él quiere, nadie sobresale tal como él quiere, a los bateristas los hace sangran hasta que por fin llegan al tempo que  es,  cualquier mínimo sonido que esté mal lo detecta de inmediato, te grita, te insulta y a su vez quieres que tengas la seguridad de que lo que estás haciendo esta bien o mal, pero eso eso, sin caer el lo geocéntrico de creerte el mejor.

La trama es simple, no hay subtramas, porque así es la vida, tú quieres ser el mejor en algo y es en lo que te enfocas. Para algunos podrá ser lenta y aburrida, no es para todo el mundo, pero en lo personal siento que es una película excepcional, las actuaciones son buenísimas, J.K Simmons y Miles Teller hacen actuaciones impecables, me causo miedo, me causo ansiedad, preocupación pero al final si te deja un alivio muy satisfactorio.  

Se podría decir que es una de las mejores películas que he visto, para nada fue una película estándar de música y de cumplir tus sueños, es la cruda realidad, cuenta con tomas increíbles, buen trabajo sonoro, escenarios majestuosos y las tomas finales totalmente increíbles. Si no la han visto, tienen que verla, para algunos podrá ser difícil de ver, de lo buena y real que se siente. Me encanto. (**Pueden encontrarla en Netflix**)

> The plot is simple, there are no subplots, because that's life, you want to be the best at something and that's what you focus on. For some it may be slow and boring, it is not for everyone, but personally I feel that it is an exceptional film, the performances are great, J.K Simmons and Miles Teller give impeccable performances, it scares me, it makes me anxious, worry but in the end if it leaves you a very satisfactory relief.

> It could be said that it is one of the best films I have ever seen, it was not at all a standard film about music and fulfilling your dreams, it is the harsh reality, it has incredible shots, good sound work, majestic settings and totally incredible final shots .
