<p>Entre su lista de series buenas apareció Lupin, y después de meses de haberlo ignorado por adentrarme en otras historias, finalmente la vi. Así que de esta serie les quiero hablar.

<p>Fue creada por George Kay y François Uzan y entre sus actores tenemos a un gran y variado elenco que será complicado mencionar acá 😆 pero que de todos modos haré. Por lo menos con unos cuantos actores y actrices 🤷

<p>Assane Diop es más que un simple ladrón: es un hombre que busca justicia por la falsa acusación contra su padre, que lo llevó hasta la muerte.
</p>
<p>Para lograr lo que quiere, sin embargo, debe poner en juego su propio cuello, y a veces, en riesgo hasta sus seres más queridos.
</p>
<p>Su inspiración y modelo a seguir para jugar este juego contra la corrupción y el abuso de poder es Arsène Lupin, un personaje ficticio salido de la pluma de Le Blanc.

<p>The first thing I must say is that I regret not having read Le Blanc's books before watching this series, as they make so much reference to them that I would have liked to see how useful they would have been in a real situation.
</p>
<p>You know, to see if this series is really realistic or not, according to the main character and the plot, although it doesn't seem much of a coincidence how this fictional character came into the life of the main character of this series, nor that he took him as a role model for what comes next, but....
</p>
<p>That aside, I imagine this series is a nice treat for fans of these books and a tribute to literature. 😌 So, relaxed on this matter, I must say:</p>
<p>It's a pretty fresh series, not heavy at all, to relax, entertain, laugh and sometimes darken the mood at the sight of so many injustices.
</p>
<p> I think one of the feelings it made me connect with the most was the helplessness, the rage of feeling that those who can help you (in this case the French police) are corrupt, led by a powerful man who is used to do whatever he wants and play with people's lives as he pleases, without any remorse.
</p>

<p>Lo primero que debo decir es que lamento no haber leído los libros de Le Blanc antes de ver esta serie, pues hacen tanta referencia a ellos que me hubiese gustado comprobar qué tan útiles hubiesen sido en una situación real.
</p>
<p>Ya saben, para ver si esta serie es en verdad realista o no, de acuerdo al personaje principal y la trama, aunque no parece mucha coincidencia el cómo llegó este personaje ficticio a la vida del personaje principal de esta serie, tampoco que lo tomara de modelo a seguir para lo que viene después, pero...
</p>
<p>Dejando esto de lado, imagino que esta serie es un buen regalo para los fanáticos de estos libros y un homenaje a la literatura. 😌 Así que, relajada en este asunto, debo decir que:</p>
<p>Es una serie bastante fresca, nada pesada, para relajarse, entretenerse, reírse y algunas veces oscurecerse el ánimo al ver tantas injusticias.
</p>
<p> Creo que uno de los sentimientos con los que más me hizo conectar fue con la impotencia, la rabia de sentir que quienes pueden ayudarte (en este caso la policía francesa) son corruptos, dirigidos por un hombre poderoso que está acostumbrado a hacer lo que se le viene en gana y jugar con la vida de las personas a su antojo, sin ningún remordimiento.

<p>Al ver esto, es natural sentir antipatía y hasta rabia por el personaje considerado como el villano de esta historia, sobre todo porque no solo mintió sobre un hombre inocente, sino que le pone muchas trabas a nuestro protagonista y sigue, aún después de sus apestosos actos, queriendo afectar la vida de las personas.
</p>
<p>Es decir, no está arrepentido para nada de lo que ha hecho y lo que sigue haciendo. Obviamente no se esperaba de él que se entregara a la policía francesa o que sea fácil de atrapar, pero es un villano muy vil, bien interpretado, por cierto.
</p>
<p>Con respecto a Assane, el protagonista, es común que las personas lo consideren como un héroe, no solo es astuto, ágil, inteligente y calculador, sino que lucha por una causa que se le podría llamar justicia... o venganza. Sin embargo, los medios que usa son cuestionables, y aunque le robe a ladrones no significa que sea algo bueno robar.
</p>
<p>Pese a esto es muy fácil simpatizar con él porque por más que hubiese intentado por el modo legal o limpio luchar contra la corrupción, no hubiese logrado más que quedarse atascado y ver su vida más afectada de lo que ya está.
</p>
<p>De igual forma es fácil verlo como alguien humano y cercano, pese a que pareciera tener el super poder de siempre salirse con la suya 😆.
</p>
<p>Esto es porque es una persona rota, traumatizado y obsesionada, con un objetivo muy claro que ha perturbado su vida por años: limpiar el nombre de su padre inocente, vengarse de los culpables que quebraron a su familia y su realidad como la conocía.
</p>

<p>Cuando una persona tiene un motivo poderoso para obsesionarse de este modo, es fácil saber que no va a parar hasta conseguir lo que quiere (y entendible). Aunque es inevitable preocuparse por cosas que vemos y que él no parece ver: lo que puede perder.
</p>
<p>Una cosa que me sorprendió y desconcertó a la vez es que él siempre usó su verdadero rostro para cometer sus fechorías, incluso robar un collar muy importante. En cierto modo esto me desesperaba, pero a medida que avanza la serie sus disfraces mejoran, pues se descubre que tiene habilidad para el maquillaje.
</p>
<p>Aún así, es bastante predecible saber quién es el que está detrás de todos estos robos o fechorías, pues una vez que el objetivo es revelado (el señor Pellegrini) no es difícil conectar con quién quiere vengarse de él, así que en realidad su identidad no importa tanto. </p>
<p>Por todo esto se va volviendo más interesante, no solo porque Assane se está saliendo con la suya, sino porque cada vez se está arriesgando más, demostrandonos que está dispuesto llegar hasta el final.
</p>
<p>Dudo mucho que una persona aprenda a actuar como él solamente por leer libros, o que le salgan las cosas bien a la primera o con tanta precisión, sin embargo, como es una serie para relajarse esto resulta genial. Es como un súper héroe poco convencional.
</p>
<p>Esta historia tiene partes intrigantes y escenas que te dejan con la boca abierta, aunque me hubiese gustado ver más fuerza en ciertas escenas de tensión. ¿Como decirlo? Más desarrollo para estas escenas, que no se superaran tan fácilmente, como si nunca hubiesen ocurrido.

<p>Lo que sí es que de pronto todo se vuelve más retorcido, y te hace preguntarte siempre cómo Assane se va a salir esta vez con la suya. De todos modos sabes que no habrá una sorpresa para mal, a menos que la dejen para la tercera temporada.
</p>
<p>Es decir, no es de esas series dónde te vas a encontrar con muchas muertes o de las que te dejará destrozado con escenas muy trágicas. Te preguntas si de ser más oscura esta serie se viera de otro modo, pero... digamos que no es el estilo de la misma.
</p>
<p>Algo que me resultó indiferente es que al momento de contar la historia nos trasladaban al pasado en fragmentos mientras nos mostraban fragmentos del presente, lo cual ayuda a mantener cierta intriga y a la vez ya te hace saber lo que va a pasar, aunque no cómo. </p>
<p>Sin embargo, me resultó bastante agradable cuando utilizaron este modo de narrarla en una parte sumamente delicada, porque sentí más tensión, más emoción, algo épico. Creo que esta fue una de las escenas con más fuerza y la que más me agradó, del resto la serie sigue su ritmo normal.
</p>
<p>Las actuaciones me agradaron bastante, aunque unas más que otras, y la música utilizada en esta historia también es buena. Otra cosa que me gustó es que Assane se vea como una persona normal, imperfecta, lleno de defectos al momento de tratar su vida personal.
</p>
<p>Por un lado sentí que estaba justificada su venganza, y por otro lado sentí que era alguien que descuidaba a su familia, a su hijo, incluso su matrimonio. Todo esto hace un contraste extraño, lo quieres, lo entiendes, pero le reprochas y te es incomprensible ciertas acciones.

<p>La parte buena es que esto lo hace ser más realista, que no te lo quieran pintar como el ser humano perfecto que no es. Es increíble que buscar justicia no te haga ser una buena persona o un buen padre por si solo, que cada cosa se gane con esfuerzo, trabajo y voluntad.
</p>
<p>Al ver cómo descuida a su familia entiendes qué tan obsesionado está por limpiar el nombre de su padre o lo mucho que eso le afectó en la vida, pues es alguien que ha perdido mucho y podría seguir perdiendo, y aún así, seguir hasta el final con un objetivo que podría dejarlo en la ruina.
</p>
<p>Hubo cosas que no me parecieron en esta serie, como que no explicaran ciertas relaciones del personaje principal con los otros, o que comenzara como si él fuera un ladrón normal y no alguien que tiene mucho tiempo persiguiendo un objetivo, porque llegas a subestimarlo y quizá no engancharte tan rápido.
</p>
<p>Sin embargo, algunas cosas que no me gustaron decidí dejarlas pasar y por eso no quiero escribir mucho acerca de ellas, aunque debo mencionar que no me gustó cómo finalizó esta historia, pero me imagino que se debe a que no es un final, sino una apertura para la continuación.
</p>
<p>La tercera temporada llegará pronto, y por supuesto que la veré, para saber qué sucederá por fin con Assane, su familia, los policías y los villanos involucrados en este caso.
</p>
<p>Sí la recomendaría para pasar un rato ameno disfrutando de las aventuras de Lupin (sin cuestionarse mucho), siguiendo de cerca sus tretas y las injusticias del mundo que te llevan a preguntarte si cosas así pasan también en la vida real, aunque ya sabes que la respuesta es sí.
</p>
<p>Sinceramente esta serie no me dejó súper impresionada o marcada de por vida 😆 pero sí me agradó y la disfruté. Es la primera que veo de origen francés, últimamente ando variando mucho con las nacionalidades de las historias. 😂

<p>Seeing this, it is natural to feel antipathy and even anger for the character considered the villain of this story, especially because he not only lied about an innocent man, but he puts many obstacles to our protagonist and continues, even after his stinking acts, wanting to affect people's lives.
<p>That is, he is not sorry at all for what he has done and what he continues to do. Obviously he was not expected to turn himself in to the French police or be easy to catch, but he is a very vile villain, well played, by the way.
</p>
<p>Regarding Assane, the main character, it is common for people to consider him a hero, not only is he cunning, agile, intelligent and calculating, but he fights for a cause that could be called justice... or revenge. However, the means he uses are questionable, and even if he steals from thieves it doesn't mean it's a good thing to steal.
</p>
<p>Despite this, it is very easy to sympathize with him because no matter how hard he would have tried in the legal or clean way to fight corruption, he would not have succeeded in anything but getting stuck and seeing his life more affected than it already is.
</p>
<p>Likewise, it's easy to see him as human and approachable, even though he seems to have the super power to always get his way 😆.
</p>
<p>This is because he is a broken, traumatized and obsessed person, with a very clear objective that has troubled his life for years: to clear the name of his innocent father, to take revenge on the culprits who broke his family and his reality as he knew it.
</p>

<p>When a person has a powerful motive for obsessing in this way, it's easy to know that he's not going to stop until he gets what he wants (and understandably so). Though it's inevitable to worry about things we see that he doesn't seem to see: what he stands to lose.
</p>
<p>One thing that surprised and puzzled me at the same time is that he always used his real face to commit his misdeeds, even stealing a very important necklace. In a way this made me despair, but as the series progresses his disguises improve, as it is discovered that he is skilled at makeup.</p>
<p>Still, it is quite predictable to know who is the one behind all these thefts or misdeeds, as once the target is revealed (Mr. Pellegrini) it is not hard to connect with who wants to take revenge on him, so his identity doesn't really matter that much.</p>
<p>For all this it is becoming more interesting, not only because Assane is getting away with it, but because he is taking more and more risks, showing us that he is willing to go all the way.
</p>
<p>I doubt very much that a person would learn to act like him just by reading books, or get things right the first time or with such precision, however, since it's a series to relax this turns out great. He's like an unconventional superhero.
</p>
<p>This story has intriguing parts and scenes that leave you with your mouth open, although I would have liked to see more strength in certain scenes of tension. How to say it? More development for these scenes, that they wouldn't be overcome so easily, as if they never happened.

<p>What it does is that everything suddenly becomes more twisted, and it makes you always wonder how Assane is going to get away with it this time. Anyway you know there won't be a surprise for the worse, unless they save it for season three.
</p>
<p>That is to say, it is not one of those series where you are going to find a lot of deaths, or one of those that will leave you devastated with very tragic scenes. You wonder if this series would look different if it were darker, but... let's just say it's not the style of the series.
</p>
<p>Something that I found indifferent is that at the moment of telling the story we were moved to the past in fragments while we were shown fragments of the present, which helps to maintain a certain intrigue and at the same time lets you know what is going to happen, although not how. </p>
<p>However, I found it quite nice when they used this way of narrating it in an extremely delicate part, because I felt more tension, more emotion, something epic. I think this was one of the scenes with more strength and the one I liked the most, the rest of the series follows its normal rhythm.
</p>
<p>I liked the performances quite a bit, although some more than others, and the music used in this story is also good. Another thing I liked is that Assane comes across as a normal, imperfect person, full of flaws when dealing with his personal life.
</p>
<p>On the one hand I felt that his revenge was justified, and on the other hand I felt that he was someone who neglected his family, his son, even his marriage. All this makes a strange contrast, you love him, you understand him, but you reproach him and it is incomprehensible to you certain actions.
</p>
<p>The good part is that this makes him more realistic, that they don't want to paint him as the perfect human being that he is not. It's amazing that seeking justice doesn't make you a good person or a good parent by itself, that everything is earned with effort, work and will.
</p>
<p>Seeing how he neglects his family you understand how obsessed he is with clearing his father's name or how much that affected him in life, as he is someone who has lost a lot and could continue to lose, and still go all the way with a goal that could leave him in ruin.
</p>
<p>There were things that I didn't like in this series, such as not explaining certain relationships of the main character with the others, or that it started as if he was a normal thief and not someone who has a long time chasing a target, because you get to underestimate him and maybe not get hooked as fast.
</p>
<p>
However, some things I didn't like I decided to let go and so I don't want to write too much about them, although I should mention that I didn't like how this story ended, but I imagine that's because it's not an ending, but an opening for the continuation.</p>
<p>La tercera temporada llegará pronto, y por supuesto que la veré, para saber qué pasará finalmente con Assane, su familia, los policías y los villanos involucrados en este caso.
</p>
<p>I would recommend it to spend a pleasant time enjoying Lupin's adventures (without questioning too much), following closely his tricks and the injustices of the world that make you wonder if things like this happen in real life, although you know the answer is yes.
</p>
<p>Honestly this series didn't leave me super impressed or marked for life 😆 but I did like it and enjoyed it. It's the first one I've seen of French origin, lately I've been varying a lot with the nationalities of the stories. 😂
