La creatividad o imaginación es la facilidad que se tiene para ingeniar, inventar y crear cosas a partir de otras ideas o de la innovación! 

Este don, habilidad o cualidad suma a nuestras vidas aportes valiosos, pues nos brinda la capacidad de siempre tener ideas originales en diferentes facetas que se nos presenten. 

Por eso es tan importante hacer nuestro máximo esfuerzo como padres por inculcarla y fomentarla en nuestros hijos, pues esto brindará en ellos a corto y largo plazo 
resultados beneficiosos...

El mundo actual va a un ritmo tan acelerado que incluso la niñez de nuestros hijos no es la misma que vivimos nosotros a su edad! La creatividad que nos invadía a los 6, 7 u 8 años a quedado desplazada en la actualidad gracias a "actividades pasivas", tales como la televisión, el Internet, los vídeos juegos. Y no es que estos en si mismos sean malos, porque la clave de todo radica en el equilibrio de las actividades, sin embargo el consumo digital exagerado de parte de nuestros niños a traído notables consecuencias.

Today's world goes at such an accelerated pace that even our children's childhood is not the same as the one we lived at their age! The creativity that invaded us when we were 6, 7 or 8 years old has been displaced today thanks to "passive activities" such as television, the Internet, and video games. * **La naturaleza contribuye a las oportunidades de ser creativos**, y es muy cierto, lo he comprobado. Hoy gracias a los apagones de más de 15 horas que se viven acá en Venezuela actualmente, me tocó estar en el carro cargando el telf por varías horas y mientras estaba allí, mi hija estaba jugando, pues en unos minutos ya había hecho galletas, torta, una cocina, una casa y de mas, solo con tierra, pantano, palos y hojas! Sinceramente la prefiero jugando en espacios abiertos que frente al televisor!

* **Demasiado tiempo frente al televisor, computadora, telefono, cualquier dispositivo digital, es dañino**, médicamente se dice que los niños demasiado expuestos a lo mencionado anteriormente, tienden a sufrir de obesidad infantil e incluso comportamiento agresivo, sin contar que en la mayoría de los casos terminan adoptando conductas e incluso el habla de los medios con los que se entretienen!

En conclusión, podemos decir que la creatividad es una herramienta importantísima en la vida de un adulto que se va fomentando desde la niñez. Incluso como experiencia personal puedo dar certeza de los beneficios que está me ha brindado a lo largo de mi vida. 

Como padres responsables queremos brindar a nuestros hijos las mejores herramientas para que tengan una adultez "dentro de las circunstancias" feliz! 

No venimos con un manual, pero todo consejo que sea provechoso y que redunde en la felicidad de nuestros hijos, siempre es bien recibido... No les parece?

In conclusion, we can say that creativity is a very important tool in the life of an adult that is fostered from childhood. Even as a personal experience I can give certainty of the benefits that this has given me throughout my life. 

As responsible parents we want to provide our children with the best tools to have a happy adulthood "within the circumstances"! 

We don't come with a manual, but any advice that is helpful and that results in the happiness of our children is always well received.... Don't you agree?

I totally agree with you Ma.
As you said *everything lies in the balance of activities*...exactly!! You can't forbid your daughter from playing videogames...but it's your duty to show her other way to play, with the hope that something will remain in her.
It's really difficult now...our society is moving further and further away from nature.
Try to get your daughter to play outside with other children as much as possible, and even more important let her play with her hands, let her develop manual skills.
Being a teacher I notice that children lack a lot of manual skills, because everything is virtual, digital. They lack of basic actions, it's like their brain didn't experiment well the reality that surround them!! Some of them are clumsy...and that's not their fault...

Nowadays many children minds growing faster than us. Those days we spent much time playing outdoor games, chatting with our friends, associating with social programs etc...
