Con motivo de celebrar el día del niño el pasado domingo, me dispuse a realizar un almuerzo especial para mis hijos ya no tan pequeños, pero este día siempre trato de hacerles algo rico para comer o merendar.

No soy muy hábil con la preparación de la masa para pizza por lo que acostumbro comprar las masas pre pizzas que venden en un comercio acá en Cumaná, son muy prácticas y en especial estas de muy buena calidad.

On the occasion of celebrating Children's Day last Sunday, I decided to make a special lunch for my children who are not so young anymore, but on this day I always try to make them something delicious to eat or have a snack.

I am not very skilled with the preparation of pizza dough so I usually buy the pre-pizza dough sold in a store here in Cumaná, they are very practical and especially these are of very good quality.

Inicié preparando la salsa para lo cual procedí a colocar en agua caliente los tomates, cebolla ají, orégano, ajo y sal. Cuando estuvieron bien cocidos al punto de romperse totalmente la retiré del fuego y procedí a licuar. Esta es la receta de salsa para pizza de mi hija @lucianav.

La quería con maíz, pero ahorita las latas de maíz acá en mi país son bastante costosas, por lo que compré dos mazorcas o jojotos, les retiré las hojas, con un cuchillo le quite los granos y a estos los puse a sancochar. Las mazorcas o jojotos deben estar tiernas, es decir no han finalizado su proceso de crecimiento o maduración.

Corté el jamón en tiras, al igual que el pimentón y la cebolla. Ya teniendo todos los ingredientes pasamos a armar las pizzas que serán tres 3 de tamaño mediano. Colocamos primero la salsa encima de la masa tratando de cubrirla toda, colocamos queso generosamente, las tiras de jamón, las de pimentón y al horno por 12 minutos cada una.
