Head to Taipei City where KC Design Studio has been tasked with completely renovating a home to modernize and provide a warm and comfortable space for its occupants.
In the space of nearly 125 m2 with a ceiling height of three meters, the first problem to overcome was a steel beam and a wide pipe too low. The designers have opted for a "deconstruction" concept to separate the steel beam from the ceiling so that everyone can perform their function independently.

The arched false ceiling brick technique brings warmth and texture to the room, all the lights are fixed on it. The owners, a young couple, shared the decor, the modern elements were chosen by the man, while the natural elements were selected by the woman. KC Design has opted for a diverse range of materials for ceilings, walls and floors, making them all independent. This also makes it possible to visually mark the room change.
