La verdad extrañaba muchísimo mi hogar, mi cama, a mi mamá, mi familia. Volver fue como una bocanada de aire fresco, después de estas últimas semanas que han sido difíciles en el trabajo, porque si a pesar de que publico solo fotos en la playa, estilo vacaciones, al final el motivo de mi estancia en este pintoresco pueblito es por trabajo, y vaya que el campo de salud demanda esfuerzo.</div>

><div class="text-justify">A few days ago, I arrived home in Maracay after spending 4 weeks in a row in Chuao. The truth is that I really missed my home, my bed, my mom, my family. Coming back was like a breath of fresh air, after these last few weeks that have been difficult at work, because despite the fact that I only publish photos on the beach, vacation style, in the end the reason for my stay in this picturesque little town is for work, and the health field demands effort.</div>

Eso me puso un poco nostálgica, reavivó muchos sentimientos que habían estado disfrazados detrás de una sonrisa y un "estoy bien". Me puse a pensar en lo frágiles que somos, en que hoy estamos vivos, pero mañana no sabemos, es por eso que como decía en mi post anterior, mi meta de ahora en adelante es disfrutar al máximo de la vida.</div>

><div class="text-justify">As so many things have happened in recent months, I asked my dad because of COVID-19, a few weeks ago my first patient died, the transfer I made just one day before returning home, seeing that lady in such poor condition health, with his life hanging by a thread. That made me a little nostalgic, it rekindled a lot of feelings that had been disguised behind a smile and an "I'm fine." I started to think about how fragile we are, that today we are alive, but tomorrow we don't know, that's why, as I said in my previous post, my goal from now on is to enjoy life to the fullest.</div>

Convencí a mi mamá de ir a comprar ingredientes para hacer una comida diferente, algo delicioso. Compré todos los ingredientes para preparar un pasticho (lasaña), compré una botellita de vino y me dispuse a disfrutar del día cocinando y tomando junto a mi mamá, mientras desarmábamos el arbolito de navidad, para guardarlo hasta el próximo año.</div>

><div class="text-justify">Since I was a bit depressed and with emotions running high, I decided to do something to cheer myself up. I convinced my mom to go buy ingredients to make a different meal, something delicious. I bought all the ingredients to prepare a pasticho (lasagna), I bought a little bottle of wine and I got ready to enjoy the day cooking and drinking with my mom, while we disarmed the Christmas tree, to store it until next year.</div>

<div class="text-justify">Entonces se me ocurrió la idea de publicar una foto en el estado y alguien me comenta lo siguiente "Eso, ¿porque tanto alboroto, que celebran?". Lo cual me puso a pensar en varias cosas que decidí compartir con ustedes a ver si opinan igual. Y es que nunca voy a entender por que vivimos esperando una "ocasión especial" para celebrar algo. O es que a caso hay que esperar que sea navidad para hacer una cena deliciosa, hay que esperar a cumplir años para hacer un delicioso pastel, hay que esperar una fecha específica para sentarse a disfrutar de una botella de vino, porque hay que esperar para usar un vestido bonito, para usar el perfume costoso. O es que acaso el simple hecho de estar vivos y sanos no es ya un motivo para celebrar.</div>

Which made me think about several things that I decided to share with you to see if you think the same. And it is that I will never understand why we live waiting for a "special occasion" to celebrate something. Or is it that you have to wait for Christmas to make a delicious dinner, you have to wait for a birthday to make a delicious cake, you have to wait for a specific date to sit down and enjoy a bottle of wine, because you have to wait to wear a nice dress, to wear expensive perfume. Or perhaps the simple fact of being alive and healthy is no longer a reason to celebrate.</div>

<div class="text-justify">No me voy a cansar de decirlo nunca, el momento de celebrar, de vivir, de ser feliz es ahora. Basta ya de esperar esa ocasión especial para empezar hacer las cosas, nunca sabes cuando se te agota el tiempo, el momento de vivir y celebrar la vida es ahora.</div>

><div class="text-justify">I will never get tired of saying it, the time to celebrate, to live, to be happy is now. Enough of waiting for that special occasion to start doing things, you never know when your time is running out, the time to live and celebrate life is now.</div>
