Hoy les compartiré mi conocimiento acerca la epilación, son conceptos fáciles de entender, recomendaciones y algunos procedimientos que yo ya he probado y me han funcionado bastante bien.

La epilación femenina no es más que la eliminación del vello ya sea de algunas zonas del cuerpo específicas o la eliminación total (depilación integral) de todo el vello corporal. </div>

<strong>Principalmente ¿epilación o depilación?</strong><br>
Debemos comenzar por aclarar esta pregunta que genera gran confusión, siempre hemos tenido la idea de que la depilación es cualquier método de eliminación de vellos con cera, hilos o rasuradoras, incluso se ha frecuentado el término “rasurar” o “afeitar” para referirse a la utilización de rasuradoras y máquinas de afeitar porque afirmábamos que la depilación era donde se eliminaba el vello desde la raíz y esto es totalmente FALSO.</div></div>

<div class="text-justify">Al referirnos a la eliminación del vello generalmente se emplea el termino depilación, sin embargo existen dos formas de hacerlo, la diferencia que existe entre ambas se basa en el hecho de que la depilación elimina la parte del vello que se encuentra en la parte externa o fuera de la piel, mientras que la epilación elimina el vello desde la raíz.</div><br>
<strong>Teniendo en claro esto entonces:</strong>

<li>Los métodos de epilación eliminan el vello desde la raíz y no desde la superficie de la piel como sería el uso de la cera, los hilos o maquinas epiladoras.</li>
<li>Los métodos de depilación para eliminar el vello en el área superficial serían las cremas depilatorias, máquinas de afeitar o rasuradoras. </li>

Las primeras veces que se realiza pueden ser muy dolorosas, pero estas molestias van disminuyendo cuando se hace en forma regular, el grosor del vello, la frecuencia con la que se realiza y la sensibilidad de cada una son factores importantes a la hora de responder esta interrogante.
Tienes que saber que la delicadeza con la que debes tratar tus axilas, no tiene que ver con la forma en la que puedes epilarte las piernas o los muslos. Tratar por igual a las diferentes partes de la piel que aparecen con vello indeseado, es un completo error.
Adaptarte a cada zona, aplicándole los diferentes métodos domésticos de depilación, será mucho más efectivo y agradable.
Para eso es necesario tener en cuenta las recomendaciones de los especialistas:
<ul>
<li>No se recomienda usar cera hasta que el vello alcance una cierta longitud</li>
<li>Para pieles sensibles tu mejor opción es que busques una cera de aloe vera, porque tiene un bajo punto de fusión y propicia una depilación más suave.</li>
<li>Para zonas intimas recomiendan el uso de Lidocaína el cual puedes conseguir en las farmacias por su efecto de anestesia local</li>
<li>De igual forma si no es posible el uso de lidocaína se puede utilizar hielo, se debe frotar hielo por la zona que desea epilar por aproximadamente 10-15min, secar con una toalla y aplicar la cera de la forma indicada</li>
<li>Se recomienda hacer una exfoliación en la zona a epilar para evitar la aparición de vellos encarnados</li>
<li>El uso del talco previo a la epilacion se utiliza para eliminar rastros de cremas o sustancias oleosas evitando que la cera se adhiera a la totalidad de los vellos y tener un mayor alcance a la hora de arrancar las bandas</li>

<li>Colocar la cera en el calentador.</li>
<li>Poner la tapa del calentador pero NO la tapa de la cera</li>
<Li>Enchufar el calentador a un toma corriente y esperar de 20-30 minutos (se recomienda poner un temporizador o un cronometro para ser exactos con el tiempo)</Li>

<li>Rinse the skin well</li>
<li>Place the wax in the heater</li>
<li>Put the lid on the heater but NOT the wax lid.</li>

<li>Colocar la banda encima y pasar la mano en el mismo sentido que se aplicó la cera (en sentido de crecimiento de los vellos)</li>
<li>Cuando la banda este bien adherida, sujetar la piel con una mano y con la otra halar de un tirón en sentido contrario del crecimiento de los vellos.</li>

<strong>Procedimientos:</strong> Crema y afeitadora son las opciones preferidas. No se corren riesgos y la piel queda suave, el inconveniente es que el rebrote es muy rápido. Sin embargo con la cera tardaran más en crecer y poco a poco se reducirá el grosor de los vellos, no deben olvidar realizar la operación en dos etapas: en un primer movimiento, hay que tirar del vello de la parte superior, tirando de la banda hacia abajo, y después hacerlo a la inversa.
