Dentro de la clasificacion de los macrólidos encontramos principalmente la claritromicina, la eritromicina y la azitromicina en cuanto a la forma de administracion puede ser tanto intravenosa como via oral, se metaboliza a traves del higado y se elimina a traves de las heces la dosis y duracion del tratamiento dependera según el criterio medico.  *Diseño creado en @Canva y @Bitmoji. -Design created in @Canva and @Bitmoji.* Entre los principales efectos adversos que pueden presentarse son reacciones cutaneas y manifestaciones gastrointestinales como diarrea, vomitos, dolor abdominal, este grupo de fármacos permite una buena evolucion del paciente hospitalizado sin embargo es importante conocer el historial clinico como alergias medicamentosas, enfermedades de base, tambien es importante conocer los principales efectos y las complicaciones que puede conllevar.  Como principal cuidado de enfermeria debemos verificar la presentacion de medicamento y consigo mismo fecha de vencimiento, comprobar datos del paciente, diluir correctamente el farmaco en caso de ser via intravenosa en el caso de la claritromicina es importante reconstituir con su agua destilada para evitar que se precipite, vigilar signos de reaccion, comprobar la permeabilidad de la via periferica.  ## *ENGLISH* >The choice of drug in the hospital unit will depend on the condition and type of infection that the patient presents.
