Feliz tarde queridos lectores de la comunidad, el día de hoy les quiero compartir mi post basado en las experiencias y emociones vividas en mi carrera de enfermería y el control que debemos tener sobre ellas, gracias por leer.

Dentro del perfil de enfermería existen una serie de requisitos, como tener habilidades y destrezas, saber manejar situaciones estresantes y que muchas veces pueden ser peligrosas para nuestros pacientes, la enfermera debe tener empatía, sentido de pertenencia y vocación, así mismo, ella debe mantener el control de sus emociones ante situaciones difíciles sin perder su calidad humana, sabiendo mantener relaciones personales y comunicativas en el día a día con nuestros compañeros, familiares y pacientes.
>Within the nursing profile there are a series of requirements, such as having abilities and skills, knowing how to handle stressful situations and that can often be dangerous for our patients, the nurse must have empathy, a sense of belonging and vocation, likewise, she must maintain control of their emotions in difficult situations without losing their human quality, knowing how to maintain personal and communicative relationships on a day-to-day basis with our colleagues, family members and patients.
Como enfermería nuestro objetivo es brindar un cuidado de calidad y humanizado a través de diferentes estrategias que se pueden ver reflejadas en el plan de cuidados en base a las necesidades fisiológicas de cada paciente, a pesar de que en la universidad nos enseñan la mejor forma de brindar atención, creo que cada uno de nosotros a medida que pasa el tiempo aplica diferentes técnicas para que el paciente se sienta bien y ahí es donde entran también las emociones y en parte los sentimientos.
>As nursing, our objective is to provide quality and humanized care through different strategies that can be seen reflected in the care plan based on the physiological needs of each patient, despite the fact that at the university they teach us the best way to provide care, I believe that each one of us applies different techniques as time goes by so that the patient feels good and that is where emotions and feelings also come in.
Un día me dijeron que no podía sentir tristeza en una situacion tan grave como la muerte de un paciente, si bien es cierto que debemos aprender a regular nuestras emociones y sentimientos ya que ambos van de la mano, sin embargo para mi es dificil no sentir tristeza ya que trabajo en un área donde los pacientes pueden permanecer hospitalizados por más de dos meses tratar con ellos dando lo mejor de mí para recuperar su salud crea un vínculo afectivo pero por otro lado creo que no debo dejar que esto me afecte demasiado mucho ya que mi salud física y emocional podría verse afectada.
>One day they told me that I could not feel sadness in a situation as serious as the death of a patient, although it is true that we must learn to regulate our emotions and feelings since both go hand in hand, however it is difficult for me not to feel sadness since I work in an area where patients can remain hospitalized for more than two months dealing with them doing my best to recover their health creates an affective bond but on the other hand I think I should not let this affect me too much anymore that my physical and emotional health could be affected.
El control de nuestras emociones contribuye a brindar una mejor atención al paciente. Todos los días me encuentro con situaciones que suelen ser desagradables para algunas personas que también están en la misma sala del hospital, como discusiones entre familiares o incluso ataques verbales al personal de salud, aunque me cuesta no sentir nada ante esta situación, lo mejor es acercarse a la persona, tratar de calmarla y escuchar su situación, esto se ve muy a menudo, sabemos que pasa tiempos dificiles de salud pero debemos pensar en el bienestar de los demas pacientes y también de nosotros mismos.
>Controlling our emotions contributes to providing better patient care. Every day I come across situations that are usually unpleasant for some people who are also in the same hospital ward, such as arguments between family members or even verbal attacks on health personnel, although it is hard for me not to feel anything in this situation, the best thing to do is approach the person, try to calm them down and listen to their situation, this is seen very often, we know that they are going through difficult health times but we must think about the well-being of other patients and also of ourselves.
Todavía estoy aprendiendo a controlar mis emociones, a veces siento tristeza por el mal trato que puedo recibir de algunos familiares, se pueden estresar por muchas cosas, por ejemplo, no tener los recursos suficientes para cubrir los gastos medicos, el miedo a que el paciente fallezca, cumplir el rol de cuidador, a pesar de que tengo la mejor disposición, entusiasmo y vocación por mi trabajo siento que no recibimos la misma cantidad de amor que brindamos al menos de sus cuidadores, pero poco a poco voy entendiendo que es parte de su proceso y que por dentro quizás no quieran reaccionar así.
>I am still learning to control my emotions, sometimes I feel sadness because of the bad treatment that I can receive from some relatives, they can get stressed by many things, for example, not having enough resources to cover medical expenses, the fear that the patient dies, fulfill the role of caregiver, despite the fact that I have the best disposition, enthusiasm and vocation for my work, I feel that we do not receive the same amount of love that we provide, at least from their caregivers, but little by little I am understanding that it is part of their process and that inside they may not want to react like this.
No debemos dejar que la tristeza, la ira, la impotencia, el estrés afecten nuestra salud ya que podemos sentirnos agotados física y mentalmente y esto podría derivar incluso en otros problemas de salud. La mejor manera de sentirnos bien con nosotros mismos es ser optimistas y motivados cada día para hacer un mejor trabajo, el cuidado que le vamos a brindar dependerá del control que tengamos de nuestros sentimientos y emociones. No hay nada mejor que transmitir alegría, comprensión y amor a nuestros pacientes, esto también es fundamental para su recuperación.
>We should not let sadness, anger, impotence, or stress affect our health, since we can feel physically and mentally exhausted and this could even lead to other health problems. The best way to feel good about ourselves is to be optimistic and motivated every day to do a better job. The care we will provide will depend on the control we have of our feelings and emotions. There is nothing better than transmitting joy, understanding and love to our patients, this is also essential for their recovery.
A pesar de haber sentido tristeza, hay momentos llenos de alegría, es gratificante ver a tu paciente dado de alta recuperado y listo para irse a casa a disfrutar de su familia y más cuando te premian con lindas palabras como "gracias" "eres una buena persona". "te recordaremos" hay quienes te pueden dar un pequeño detalle, por estas cosas no me rendiré y seguiré demostrando mi amor por mi carrera y por cada paciente en todo momento.
>Despite having felt sadness, there are moments full of joy, it is gratifying to see your discharged patient recovered and ready to go home to enjoy their family and even more so when they reward you with nice words like "thank you" "you are a good person". "we will remember you" there are those who can give you a small detail, for these things I will not give up and I will continue to show my love for my career and for each patient at all times.
