As every week the #ThoughtfulDailyPost team invites us to reflect on situations of daily life, I particularly enjoy these discursive gatherings, because they represent a valuable opportunity to rethink the actions in my journey and unison, to know in the interaction other protagonist looks, becoming an enriched fabric of events, as a life experience.

At every moment of my walk, I thank and value, again and again, the opportunity to have life to exist and to be able to live. I go through daily life, which I constantly spruce up and garnish, to make it desired, pleasant, but above all loved, I try to make it interesting and exciting, although sometimes it is disturbing and overwhelming, I do not complain I enjoy it and I rejoice in it, because I flow in the dynamism and activity, trying to congenial and agree the dissimilar and diverse so that in its right measure finds its space and accommodation, managing the harmony of the balance between the parts.

If there is something that predominates in our current social territories, it is competitiveness, in its different variants. I conceive of it as a stimulus to excel, I consider that it can be an incitement to achievement, although it in itself has many edges, good and not so good. Competing, for me, is to stimulate with determination to a purpose, it is not negative. It becomes detrimental when our erroneous and unfocused actions turn into the opposite, becoming true spears against selfhood.

In my professional practice, I am constantly involved in competitiveness, valued as the effort to be better and to obtain opportunities to develop by strengthening praxis. We compete to get a job or to strengthen our training with higher education, the genesis of which is to receive improvements with perseverance and dedication in our working life, which will have repercussions in the personal and family spheres.
</div>

I bring you this example because it interconnects with the reflective invitation of our message: “The grass is always greener, on the other side of the fence”, and it happens when we allow ourselves to be invaded by comparisons, moving in illusory thoughts, that far from favoring us, they discourage us. We mistakenly begin to give greater value and weight to what we lack, pigeonholing into oblivion what we have, what we have achieved and is, therefore, treasure and strength, because it is ours. 
</div>

We are not serial productions, in which we all go down a single path, with the same performances and the same purposes. On the contrary, we are life stories, unique and unrepeatable, each one special and different, nurtured by its web of events, compiled by its experiences and realities. Nothing is identical, for example, your right hand is not the same as your left hand, univitelline twins (fertilization of a single egg), although to your eyes they may be identical, the differences exist, and their mother would prove it to you without hesitation.

To give opportunity and consent in our lives to the installation and recurrence of comparisons is to be on a tightrope, with the risk that they invade and dominate our thoughts, affecting our chores, and undermining our value and effort. Life is beautiful with its nuances and variety, which should not be invaded by biases and assumptions of what may exist in other lives. When unforeseen events, unwanted events, or any unsettling situation occur, the solution lies in ourselves, and in our efforts to achieve the necessary change.

I have not been exempt from being susceptible and letting myself be seduced by my thoughts, that others are doing better, I have also thought about it at times.  However, circumstances have taken me to the other side of the fence and I can tell you that the grass is not always greener on the other side, because I have evidence that they have been my optical illusions, to sketch a non-existent reality, only in assumptions. I understood it and I assume it, I value and strengthen my grass, I work assiduously on it to keep it always green, sometimes it has had periods of drought or a lot of rain, but with perseverance and dedication, it greens again in its balance, finding harmony. 
</div>

I am grateful day by day, from love and gratitude for all the events that have occurred and lived, they have been the ones that have nourished and fed my being and what I am, they have been the most extreme and intense experiences, which have given light to the path, to understand and assimilate that the perfect life is chimeric and happiness will always be within reach of those who seek it.

Como cada semana el quipo #ThoughtfulDailyPost nos invita a cavilar en situaciones del diario vivir, en lo particular disfruto considerablemente estas tertulias discursivas, porque representan una valiosa oportunidad para repensar las acciones en mi recorrido y al unísono, conocer en la interacción otras miradas protagónicas, convirtiéndose en un enriquecido tejido de eventos, como experiencia de vida.

A cada instante de mi andar, agradezco y valoro, una y otra vez, la oportunidad de tener vida para existir y poder vivir. Transito, por una vida cotidiana, que constantemente acicalo y aderezo, para hacerla deseada, grata, pero sobre todo querida, procuro hacerla interesante y emocionante, aunque a veces es turbadora y arrolladora, no me quejo la disfruto y me regocijo en ella, porque fluyo en el dinamismo y la actividad, tratando de congeniar y concordar, lo disímil y diverso, para que en su justa medida encuentre su espacio y acomodo, gestionando la armonía del equilibrio entre las partes.

Si hay algo que predomina en nuestros territorios sociales actuales es la competitividad, en sus distintas variantes. Yo la concibo como un estímulo a la superación, considero que puede ser una incitación al logro, aunque ella en sí misma tiene muchas aristas, buenas y no tan buenas. Competir, es para mí, estimular con empeño a un propósito, no es negativo. Se vuelve perjudicial, cuando nuestras acciones erróneas y desenfocadas, le dan el vuelco, al desfase opuesto, convirtiéndose en verdaderas lanzas contra la mismidad.

En mi ejercicio profesional, estoy constantemente involucrada en la competitividad, valorada esta como el esfuerzo por ser mejor y obtener oportunidades para desarrollarse afianzando la praxis. Competimos para obtener una plaza de trabajo o para fortalecer nuestra formación con estudios superiores, cuya génesis es obtener mejoras con perseverancia y dedicación en la vida laboral, que repercutirá en la esfera personal y familiar.

Les traigo este ejemplo, porque interconecta con la invitación reflexiva de nuestro mensaje: ..."La hierba siempre es más verde, al otro lado de la valla" ...  Y ocurre cuando nos dejamos invadir por las comparaciones, transitando en pensamientos ilusos, que lejos de favorecernos, nos amilanan, porque equivocadamente empezamos a dar mayor valor y peso a lo que nos falta, encasillando en el olvido lo que tenemos, lo que hemos conseguido y, por tanto, es tesoro y fortaleza, porque es nuestro.

No somos producciones seriadas, en las que todos recorremos un mismo camino, con las mismas actuaciones y los mismos propósitos. Al contrario, somos historias de vida, únicas e irrepetibles, cada una especial y diferente, nutrida por su entramado de acontecimientos, compilada por sus experiencias y realidades. Nada es exactamente idéntico, por ejemplo, tu mano derecha no es igual a tu mano izquierda, los gemelos univitelinos (fecundación de un solo óvulo), aunque a tus ojos sean idénticos, las diferencias existen, su madre te lo demostraría sin dudarlo.
</div>

Dar oportunidad y consentimiento en nuestras vidas a la instalación y recurrencia de comparaciones, es estar en la cuerda floja, con el riesgo de que invadan y dominen nuestros pensamientos, afectando a nuestros quehaceres, menoscabando nuestro valor y esfuerzo. La vida es bella con sus matices y variedad, que no deben ser invadidos por prejuicios y suposiciones de lo que puede existir en otras vidas. Cuando surgen imprevistos, acontecimientos no deseados o cualquier situación que nos inquieta, la solución está en nosotros mismos, en nuestro esfuerzo por lograr el cambio necesario.

No he estado exenta de ser susceptible y dejarme seducir en mis pensamientos, de que a otros les va mejor, también lo he pensado en ocasiones.  Sin embargo, las circunstancias me han llevado al otro lado de la valla y les puedo decir que no siempre la hierba es más verde al otro lado, porque he evidenciado que han sido solo ilusiones ópticas mías, al esbozar una realidad inexistente, solo en mis supuestos. Yo lo entendí y lo asumo, valoro y fortalezco mi pasto, trabajo asiduamente en él para mantenerlo siempre verde, a veces ha tenido períodos de sequía o mucha lluvia, pero con perseverancia y dedicación, vuelve a reverdecer en su equilibrio, encontrando la armonía. 
</div>

Agradezco día a día, desde el amor y la gratitud todos los acontecimientos ocurridos y vividos, han sido los que han nutrido y alimentado mi ser y lo que soy, han sido las experiencias más extremas e intensas, las que han dado luz al camino, para comprender y asimilar que la vida perfecta es quimérica y la felicidad siempre estará al alcance de quien la busque.
