Hola amigos de hive, un caluroso abrazo para todos y muchas bendiciones. Hacía ya un tiempo no escribía, pues la carga de trabajo, el estudio y las labores cotidianas del hogar no me lo habían permitido, pero ya estoy de regreso. Espero que este nuevo post sea de su agrado.

Cómo dice bien el título, voy a contarles mi historia personal en una misión internacionalista. Muchas veces las personas piensan que en una misión internacionalista todo es color de rosa, y no saben cuan equivocados están. Muchas veces solo contamos las partes bonitas para que todos crean que nos va bien o simplemente por la sencilla razón de no preocupar las familias.

Many times we only count the beautiful parts so that everyone believes that we are doing well or simply for the simple reason of not worrying about families.


Soy graduada de laboratorio clínico, termine mis estudios en el 2011 y solo apenas cundo tenía 1 año de graduada, hicieron un llamado para salir a cumplir misión internacionalista en la hermana república de Venezuela, y ahí estaba yo dentro de los seleccionados. Un gran reto para mí, después de tener un solo año de experiencia y lejos de mi hogar.

Recuerdo que el día que me lo dijeron fue inexplicable la sensación que sentí, recuerdo que aquel día al llamar a mi papá, hasta lloramos los dos, pues nunca había estado tan lejos de la familia. Partí a Venezuela un día 16 de abril del 2012, recuerdo como si fuera ahora , lo que se siente cuando montas por primera vez un avión y dejas los tuyos por detrás, no se puede sentir el corazón más oprimido .

I left for Venezuela on April 16, 2012, I remember as if it were now, what it feels like when you ride a plane for the first time and leave yours behind, you cannot feel the most oppressed heart.


Allí estuve en un CDI llamado los sauzales ubicados en el estado Mérida, a 15 horas de Caracas. Gracias a dios , nunca estuve sola , pues el viaje lo hice con unas compañeras de trabajo , y cundo llegue allí , mi hermana me esperaba, pues estaba también en el mismo lugar cumpliendo misión gracias a dios.

El camino para que contarles , tuvimos que pasar un lugar llamado "el páramo " un lugar en el cual muchos han perdido la vida , incluyendo colaboradores por lo peligroso que es , desde que comienza hasta que termina , curvas , lomas y barrancos . Aún no puedo olvidar esa imagen. Cundo llegue me volvió el alma al cuerpo al ver a mi hermana esperándome , no tienen idea de lo que se siente encontrar un ser querido en un lugar completamente desconocido.

Al principio todo parecía bien , se extrañaba la familia, pero uno se va acostumbrando a la idea de estar un año sin verlos , desde que comienza el viaje , uno empieza a descontar días de ese año , cómo si así fuera a pasar el tiempo más rápido , tiempo que correrá lentamente hasta que lleguen las añoradas vacaciones .

En cuanto al trabajo todo estaba bien , pues había poco aunque el CDI estaba en un barrio opositor y a cada rato tocaban su calderito . Muchas veces fueron las que se reunió la brigada para hacer fiestas , celebrábamos cada fecha señalada , día de las madres , del padre, de la medicina en fin , cualquier fecha que pudiéramos celebrar, que nos hiciera despejar la mente ,muchas veces la pasamos bien no lo puedo negar ,aún tengo recuerdos muy bonitos de aquella etapa , y de las amistades que hice .

A medida que fue pasando el tiempo las cosas fueron tomando otro color , en primer lugar mi hermana termino su misión y el apoyo que allí tenía ya no estaba , aunque tengo que darle gracias a dios por las buenas amistades que uno hace y las buenas personas que dios nos pone en el camino . Pues gracias a eso nunca me sentí sola. Y en segundo lugar, la gran inflación que tenía el país también nos afectaba a nosotros .

Muchos fueron los días que nos la vimos fea, pues a medida que subían los precios , menos nos alcanzaba el dinero para comprar comida , casi todos los días teníamos que almorzar espaguetis con sardina para poder comer un poquito sé arroz por la tarde porque el que nos daban para el mes no nos alcanzaba , y ustedes saben que al cubano el arroz no le puede faltar ,trataba casi siempre de no salir de casa, pues los asaltos aumentaban cada día , yo vivía en un barriecito de puro malandro , nunca podía salir después de las 3 de la tarde , porque te dejaban sin nada.

Casi todo el tiempo tenía que estar uno ahorrando y ahorrando para poder hacer y completar los 30 kilos de equipaje que la aerolínea te dejaba traer. Pero todo no quedo ahí , ni hablar de las innumerables colas para poder comprar un mercal como se le dice allá., El único día que teníamos de descanso se nos iba en hacer colas , y así fueron transcurriendo los días a golpes de necesidades , hasta que llegó la peor parte .

Recuerdo que estaba de guardia el día que anunciaron la muerte del presidente Hugo Chávez , fue un duro golpe para toda Venezuela aquel día, pero también me lleve el gran susto de mi vida, pues sin apenas dar la noticia ya los opositores o escuálidos que es como se les llama allá querían tomar el CDI he incendiarlo con nosotros dentro.

>I remember that I was on duty the day that the death of President Hugo Chávez was announced, it was a hard blow for all of Venezuela that day, but it also gave me the great scare of my life because without hardly giving the news to the opponents or squalid, which is like They were called over there, they wanted to take the CDI and set it on fire with us inside.

Fue el peor día de mi vida en aquel lugar, todo era toques de carderos y tiros por todos lados de guarimberos tirándole a la guardia nacional , toda una locura y nosotros, en medio de todo eso, tirándonos al piso para no salir heridos. En fin , días como aquellos no los olvidaré jamás .

Anyway I will never forget days like those.


Toda esta situación se mantuvo por un tiempo , todo era guarimbas por todas partes , barricadas , botellas incendiadas ,volando al aire , alambres atravesados en las principales avenidas , aumentaron los asaltos , en fin , días insoportables , situación que nunca había visto en mi vida , Y nosotros atravesado día a día , todas esas cosas para ir a trabajar , sin protección de ningún tipo , todos estábamos a la buena de dios. Todo esto se mantuvo hasta que salió electo Nicolás maduro como nuevo presidente .

All this continued until Nicolás Maduro was elected as the new president.

Solo estuve después de esto unos meses más , pues llegó mi fin de misión ,fueron días , estresantes , insoportables , y aterradores , de esos días de los que nadie cuenta para que mamá y papá no se preocupen en casa y para que la familia no sufra las cosas que uno sufre ,pero es increíble como se pierde el calor humano y se hacen daño unos a otros entre hermanos de la misma tierra por problemas políticos , solo quien lo vive puede saber lo que se siente y más aun cuando extiendes tu mano para ayudar y te devuelven fuego .

>I was only a few more months after this, because my mission ended, they were days, stressful, unbearable, and terrifying, those days that nobody counts so that mom and dad don't worry at home and so that the family doesn't suffer the things that one suffers, but it is incredible how human warmth is lost and brothers from the same land hurt each other due to political problems, only those who experience it can know what it feels like and even more so when you extend your hand to help and return fire.

No todo es color de rosa y se ve en esta historia vivida , desde que un colaborador pone un pie en un avión está corriendo peligro porque no sabe que va a encontrar a dónde va ,pero de lo que estoy más que convencida porque lo vi , es la satisfacción que se siente al regresar a casa sana y Salvo junto a la familia , eso no tiene precio ni comparación .
