You are a better person than me. I had a year long project in 2012-2013 - trying to randomly smile at people in California where they do not smile in a normal course of events. 

My "Smiling at People" project was  part of my failed "Trying to Meet Men Now that I am Thin" project. I lost "half my size" ending in 2011 and had this idea I could now be a normal person. Oh - the optimism!

I have about 20 posts on My Smiling Project on my WordPress fitinfun blog. I had my smiles divided into categories such as "Wasted Smiles" and "Smiles that made me run down the street crying." It was a rough year and I gave up in frustration and went back to my personal Hermitville to live in peace. 

Now, since March 2016 I am in Thailand "The Land of Smiles"! Such a freaking relief! I should have moved here years ago. Everyone has a smile on their face all day long - For. No. Reason!!!! 

In the beginning of my time here, I thought they were faking - or being forced to smile. But no! This is how they are. It's my greatest joy to walk down the street grinning like a fool and making eye contact and everything. These people know how to smile and they love to share.

So now to answer your question - I smile constantly. I have to tell myself to slap that smile on my face as soon as I leave the house since it is not natural to me. I create joy and smiles just by walking down the street or riding an escalator or entering a 7-11. 

I sometimes start waving like I am a princess on a parade float. When I get carried away and wave - everyone waves back happily!!!! They smile even bigger! I love it here :)
