I went to check out if the ski trails in a resort close to the city were in good condition despite the warm spell. They were in excellent condition.  I arrived at about twenty past nine. The slopes weren't open, yet. They would be opened at ten.  There were some people around.  This is the manor which is used as a restaurant.   No skiers, yet.  The view is pretty awesome.  ----    The trails were in excellent condition but the number of skiers still surprised me.    Some people told me that this was Virtual Finlandia-hiihto. Finlandia-hiihto is an annual cross-country skiing mass event that is a race for the top participants and fun for the rest of the thousands who participate. https://english.finlandiahiihto.fi/ The event had been canceled due to Covid-19. But people still showed up in large numbers. I saw one with a number on her chest.  As I left the parking areas were filling up.  Skiers on their way to the slopes

I absolutly LOOVE skiing, the enviroment and fresh air combined with fun is priceless 😊 That looks like a Great place to go skiing and the manor looks gorgeous.
