Great empires 1881

I'm not sure where we got this coin ,i  didn't buy it or find it.
And I'm pretty sure it wasn't my father's either.
Probably a leftover from our grandfather.
A nice little coin, that's why it's still in my collection.
Of course, because it's silver.

These Little 50 Cents come to us from France at the end of the 19th century. At that time, there were great empires such as the British, French, Russian, German, Austro-Hungarian and Ottoman that literally divided Europe and the world.
Over one hundred and forty years of history I believe the coin traveled quite a distance to get from France to me,which is 2000 km away from me.

Obverse: Head of the Republic on the left as Ceres, goddess of the harvest, wearing a pearl necklace, a double bun and a composite crown of wheat, flowers, olive tree and olives, oak and acorns, tied by a ribbon descending on the neck and passing on the forehead where the word CONCOR is written; under the edge of the neck along the listel EA OUDINÉ. F..Although the word chonchor is not visible on my coin, the years have taken their toll.
Reverse :  50 Cent,In two lines in the field, above the vintage, in a composite wreath of two oak branches and two laurel branches, tied two by two at the bottom with a ribbon; under the knot, the workshop letter.

I took a photo of my own coin on banknotes from my country during the 1993 high inflation period
This often serves as a reminder to me how much those zeros on plain paper mean nothing
That I am for the return of silver-gold backing for money
Because this small coin weighing 2.5 grams is worth more than all these billions on banknotes
