It's kind of weird, writing to you after all this time has passed, but there were some things I thought you needed to know. 

**You're good in the future**

Life is good, I've managed to learn some things and we've achieved a lot of goals you're probably just now thinking about. So, know that things are going to be okay. 

- Life is inspiring here, and I'm doing work I love. 
- I'm with people who genuinely care about me and (I don't want to give anything away) you do manage to achieve what you wanted from your love life. 
- There's been some big changes, but most of them are good and you survive the others. 

**You're in a good place right now**

Yeah, I know it doesn't all feel that way, but trust yourself, you're getting there. Some of what's going on now that feels tough, is foundational for where you'll be, trust me. Wow, I wish I could tell you more, but there's rules. 

- Keep learning, don't give up. I know it's tough, but you're going to use it in ways I'm not even sure I understood when it happened. 
- You should definitely take the positive steps your considering toward taking better care of yourself,it's going to help a lot. 
- Also, don't be too hard on yourself about your upcoming failure. It's okay. It won't be as big a deal as you think!

**You definitely need to let go of that baggage, and it's time.**

It's okay, it's really weighed you down, and if you try to carry it through what comes next, well,  let's just say you might never get this message. 

- I've learned that forgiveness isn't really about *them* it's about me. So, let it go, don't imprison your thoughts with it. 
- Once you do let go, some hard stuff gets easier, I promise. Trust yourself. 
- It seems like you've got some things to settle from where you are right now, but you're going to find out you were the only one really thinking about it. (I may be saying too much)

**Be open to some new opportunities**

I can't tell you when, or what, but just remember, don't say no until you've really heard it out, and then follow your heart. Being open is going to widen your horizons, and what feels really limited right now, won't.

- When we say yes, the whole world kind of opens up to us, but you have to pay attention and know what to say yes to, it will make sense when it comes. 
- If you question it too long, it may pass you by, so, be sure you think it through, then make a choice, don't wait too long!
- Some of these things seem small, but open up into world's you've only imagined. 

**The limits your facing aren't really.**

When you get past it, you'll see this so clearly, but think about now. Those walls you're seeing aren't nearly as tall, or as permanent as they seem. 

- Remember, 'no' just means, not that way, this time, in this place. Don't. Give. Up. 
- When you take your eyes off of the limitation, you'll see possibilities you're not seeing right now. Trust yourself, it's not as bad as it seems. 
- If you let it stop you, you'll stall and then, when you are beyond this part, you'll wish you'd found a way around, trust me!

**Don't focus on what's going on here.**

Your future, is my present and trust me on this, if you don't focus on your own "now" you're going to miss a lot of cool stuff that you'll regret later. 

- Some of the experiences you're having now, won't come around again. Soak in them. Be in the moment, don't let worry, or fear rob you. 
- Focus on what you do have, and who you have around you. There's more going for you right now than you migh believe!
- Learn to see what you have, really have. Focus on the things that make life good, and deal with the bad and get past it, don't dwell.

**You're tougher than you think.**

You're not going to get here without some loss. But, those losses are part of what makes you who you're going to be. Don't let them own you!

- Mourn when you need to mourn, but be ready to move on to new good things. 
- Being strong doesn't necessarily mean always brave, or happy. It means facing things and really allowing yourself to experience them. 
- Pain and tough times have a lot of lessons, if you pay attention. We did repeat a few of them before we got it, but maybe you can do better. 

**Look for things to be grateful for.**

Some days you can't see it, but there's a lot to be thankful for. Trust me. Some of it feels like just the opposite, but once you get here, you'll see it. 

- Say thank you and mean it as often as possible. This is important, both for you and those you say it to. 
- Never take things for granted. When you have enough, that's more than some, be grateful. 
- When you focus on things you are grateful for, you'll draw more of them into your experience. Trust me. 

**Learn to edit your life**

The things you own, own a piece of you and this is going to matter. Don't just have things to have them, choose wisely. 

- Take the time to build your world with things and experiences you love. There are times when that will be small, but the bigger things will come too. 
- I'm still dealing with a bit of this, so, focus on it, sharpen it up now, it gets easier with practice. 
- Be generous, and don't operate out of fear. Holding on too tightly because of what *might* happen (but generally, won't, trust me on this) can hold you back. 

**Keep the flow going**

What comes in, must go out. Prepare for your future,  but don't hold onto money or things too tightly. You'll miss some really great blessings if you do, because you won't see them. 

- Never regret, or pay grudgingly for something you got good value from. It's damaging to you, and means nothing to them. 
- Give when the opportunity presents itself. Help whoever you can make a real difference for. It comes back to you, really, it does. 
- Be grateful for resources as they come in, and as you send them out for things you need. Don't allow your life too become stagnant, it will hurt you. 

Well, that's all I can say right now, without giving too much away. Love yourself and those around you. Don't be too hard on either one. You're going to make it through, and the more you focus on the great things in life, the more you'll start to see it as a great life, and it is.
