That time has gone. This is an acronym for a very well known principle by the U.S. Navy in the '60s: *"Keep It Simple, Stupid"*. It means that systems tend to work best if kept simple, so that unnecessary complications must be avoided by all means. Now let's keep in mind that the Bitcoin whitepaper was 9 pages long. When you see a lengthy and complicated whitepaper, this should raise a flag. Chances are the complications are not needed or, at best, the team behind the project is trying to do too many things. This is very true indeed. I agree with you on that. Many cryptos are cropping up every other time through the various ICOs and some appear to be very complicated. I wish they can emulate from the mother of all coins "Bitcoin" to keep it simple and very intutive. There is a brand new simple project that i believe is observing the kiss principle.
