El tiempo pasó,
y el ave se marchó,
el perro triste quedó
y empezó  a llorar, la soledad lo deprimió.

El plato se inundó,  
el perro azul sus ojos cerró 
y cuando el ave volvió,
dormido lo encontró.

Con su pico el agua retiró 
y el perro feliz despertó,
su amigo  regresó,
y esta vez, nunca más  se marchó.
