<p><strong>Where are black widow spiders</strong></p>
<p>Black widow spiders prefer dark and isolated areas such as cracks and firewood, and black widows disappear in the home usually in protected areas. They are found in low places such as garages, dark corners, bathers, abandoned rooms and cupboards. Black widow spiders thrive primarily in temperate regions They are abundant in South</p>
<p>There are several types of wolves or widow spiders which are found in North America. The most common is the Southern Widow, also called the Southern Black Widow. It is found in South America and the Northeast, the Hesperus spider in the west, the brown widow in the south, In the north-east</p>
<p><strong>Characteristics</strong><br>
An &nbsp;important feature of the Black Widow spider is the scaly foot, where &nbsp;there is a row of strong, jagged, curved hairs on the hind legs that are &nbsp;used to catch the prey. Black widows are shy in nature, living alone, &nbsp;socializing only during mating, and black widows are active At night, their nets are woven during the day, and they can sometimes &nbsp;be seen hanging upside down in their nets, and there are hourglass-like &nbsp;marks on the back of the abdomen. These are bright red marks that give &nbsp;warning when predators attack<br>
<strong>Male vs. Female</strong><br>
On &nbsp;average, black widow spiders are smaller than females, about half the &nbsp;size of a female in length. However, the black widow's legs are much &nbsp;longer in proportion to the female. The males are orange and brown in &nbsp;the joints, males have red lines White on the abdomen and this depends on the type, the male is colorful and finely trimmed over the female&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Diet</strong></p>
<p>Like most spiders and the food source of the Black Widow spider, they include a variety of arthropods, including ants, worms, grasshoppers, beetles, cockroaches, scorpions, etc., and black widows work on their food outside their bodies after the prey is caught in the net. The prey is injected with digestive enzymes, The prey after it has become soft and , the black widow is able to live for several months without food.</p>
<p><strong>Black Widow Network</strong></p>
<p>The black widow is woven into its large net and then attached to the cocoon, which consists of hundreds of eggs. These spiders also use their nets to prey, which include insects such as flies, grasshoppers and beetles.</p>
<p><strong>life cycle</strong></p>
<p>Black widow mates in the spring until early summer. In some cases, black widow females treat males after mating and feed on males as sources of nutrients for fertilizing the egg. Black widow spiders can produce several white bags in the summer months. The bags are firmly protected by females until they hatch</p>
<p><strong>eggs&nbsp;</strong></p>
<p>The eggs are white, brown or gray, have a paper-like structure, and the bags are 12 to 15 mm in diameter. They can be pear or spherical, and the egg bag contains hundreds of eggs. However, there are a few Of these young surviving, black widows of cannibals during the early stages of their lives.</p>
<p>Black widow spider eggs can be found in dark cracks under stones and natural debris such as firewood, and these white spiders are likely to be placed in barns and other secondary buildings. Eggs may also be deposited into neglected material or animal nests and rodents</p>
<p><strong>Young black widow</strong></p>
<p>Young black widows become adult in the following spring, and the young are white and orange and resemble adult males, females become black when they grow older, and young black widow treats other young people as a source of nutrients</p>
<p>In a few days, the youngsters leave the net, releasing the tissue into the air, carrying it to a new place, and then picking up their food. They then find a place to hide to survive during the winter and return when the weather becomes hot and then becomes severe</p>

A couple years ago I was going through a bin from the shed looking for halloween decorations, low and behold, a black widow. This was NOT a decoration I was hoping to find. They a very beautiful but oh so dangerous. Thanks for sharing the pic and info.
