Progress Over Perfection.

Well, I use to overthink, and I guess it has never helped me, it has done more harm than good.....it has stolen my peace, gave me headaches, sleepless nights, made me procrastinate and even made me gone quiet.It feels I am just punishing myself by overthinking.

I started this year on a good note. I had my dreams amd aspirations written down, I even did voice note for some and saved it all in my draft, my plan is to work towards it one after the other and tick the boxes. But life, life will always show up, I got disappointed at some, some left me surprised, some felt like a delay and I thought it over, maybe I overthink those things too much that it deprived me the honor of doing enough.

We are halfway through, and I think it's time to adjust, to leave behind the belief that I must solve everything, that everything must be perfect, I don't want to overthink anything anymore, I just want to do my things, I just want to keep moving forward, I refuse to get burn out and stressed. I don't have it all figured yet, but yet, I will do what I can.

So, I refuse to go on overthinking things, I want to rather trust in God more and trust myself to be able to accomplish, I have survived everything *hard* from life, so why not..why overthink. Even when it looks uncertain, I choose to keep going, I choose to keep trusting, even if I fall on the way, I choose to stand tall and start again.

This second half, I’m not chasing perfect anymore. I just want to be present. To laugh loud when I can, cry soft when I need to, and remind myself daily that progress isn’t always loud or visible. Sometimes, it’s in the small things — like finally opening that document, making that call, or choosing to pray instead of panic.

I see the first half as breaking, and am set to make surs the second half is for building....building my goals, peace, dreams, aspirations, habits and all, my story hasn't come to an end, and the year hasn't either......
