*I just found two vast ebook repositories on IRC.*

**Looks like xmas came early this year =)**

Fire up your IRC client of choice (like mIRC or weechat).

Add two networks to your list: undernet and highwaynet (Dychotomy not intended ;)

    /server add undernet ix1.undernet.org
    /server add highwaynet irc.highwaynet.net

You can find alternative links on the [undernet](http://www.undernet.org/servers/) and [highwaynet](https://irchighway.net/).

Connect to either server (or both if you're zealous)

    /connect undernet

and/or

    /connect highwaynet

Wait for your client to connect.

Set your nick.

    /nick your-nick

Set your usermode to +x (a small security precaution)

    /mode your-nick +x

Connect to #bookz, the undernet ebook exchange.

    /join #bookz

Or, connect to #ebooks, the highwaynet ebook exchange.

    /join #ebooks

You should connect to the channel within seconds. You'll see advertised book lists and searches by various users.

Both channels, #bookz and #ebooks, work the same way. Some of the bots that serve the book requests sit in both rooms.

To search for a book, send in your channel of choice:

    @search your-search

A new window will open telling you the status of your request.

Once accepted (should occur automatically) another buffer window will open, waiting for your response.

Send 'a' or 'A' to accept.
You will see the download progress. Keep in mind this file only contains your search results. You're not downloading any books yet!

The file will be downloaded to the xfer subdirectory of your irc folder. Open the text file to see a list of your search results.

To download any of the results, simply copy the line into the #bookz  or #ebooks channel (depending where you performed the search).

    !servername filename

And repeat the process above of accepting the file.

Voila! Rinse and repeat for thousands of books.
