Is there a reward for "good" flagging or downvoting, too?

<p>The most useless post I saw so far was a post which consisted of randomly typed letters. I didn't downvote it, because I didn't care so much. If I downvoted spam like that, would I get a reward for "proper flagging"?</p>

as far as I know if you downvote a bad post early then everyone else also downvotes it then your voting influence goes up, but if you downvote something that everyone else upvotes then your influence will go down

how much money casting your vote gives, how accurate of a voter you are... it makes sense that if you vote opposite to everyone one else that your votes would be deemed less accurate and be worth less over time
