Why i think BitCoin won't replace cash and cards
I honestly it's a bit over people heads, including mine. Cash and card, is a no brainer, you pay for the goods or service by handing over cash or paying by card.

Even PayPal is easy to understand, its an online account that you link with your bank account and credit card to pay for goods online. Having said that, i wouldn't have a clue how to pay with PayPal in a store.

As for BitCoin, until they can make it easy for the average person to grasp, it won't really take off as a payment method.

The average user doesn't know how https or tcp / ip works, but they use the internet everyday.

Why do people need to understand? Or what for that matter?

Magic internet money is a great concept that people can get behind. ;).

Here's the thing about Bitcoin. Yes, the technology is complicated and very heady. Most people will never grasp how it works.

But how many people do you know who understand the technology behind email? Or websites? Or even Credit Cards?

Do you think every individual who swipes his mastercard knows that the magnetic stripe contains information which is read by a specialized computer and then is passed through a secure (or sometimes not so secure) channel to a computer at the merchant's bank, which then passes it to the MasterCard central processing network, which then passes it to the card holder's bank's computer, which then queries the card holder's account balance, makes some fraud detection decisions, and then returns an approval or denial which goes all the way back to the merchant's terminal in a matter of seconds? Of course not!

Point being that it's totally unimportant to the average user to understand how a technology works.. They only care that it DOES work, and it's easy to use. And there are plenty of mobile apps that make Bitcoin easy to use.

That's the thing, the AVERAGE person. We need to make Bitcoin accessible and easy to use for the populace. I do, however think that the pro Bernie(and trump) bloc, for example, has an anti government stance. We could use this as a lever to attract new support, keyword grassroots support for these "radical" groups.

People go nuts over deals. Coupons (both digital and analog) are very popular despite the added friction.

What if you could get the very **best deals** online on *everything* using digital currency?

I agree: bitcoin won't replace cash.
I think it is strange when people oppose bitcoin to cash.

Some crypto may replace cards, but not now.
Usually cards not operate with real money, they use some "virtual" and balance draw up only at the end of banking day...

My standpoint is that crypto (not especially bitcoin) can replace SWIFT.
SWIFT is slow and weak.
Nowdays needs fast and protected money.

My minds about crypto:
