For a quick definition of what is Current, it’s enough to say that it’s a company intent on creating a Blockchain-based ecosystem to stream any type of content under a single platform and they plan to allow their users to collect rewards for investing their time getting access to the media of their choosing. 

Current is now in the early stages of development, but they have something to show already with their main app already up and running for iOS systems. The company currently houses mainly music services such as Spotify, Soundcloud, iTunes and media providers like YouTube. To continue their development the company has mapped out a roadmap with their funding goals and what they will be able to do depending on the amount of money collected in their crowdsale, let’s take a look at their projections:

#### Current Funding Goals
The company has cranked out a few figures at what they will be able to do with these capital figures for the company. If they manage to reach $5 million they will be able to upgrade the platform to an improved v2.1 and integrate other third parties services such as HBO and Netflix by enabling off-the-grid content consumption. $7.5 million will help to finish development on the Android version of the app and set partnerships with external media networks. $10 million will help build the main website for the company as well as a desktop app. 

The first CRNC tokens will be offered outside the customer base. $12.5 million will allow the inclusion of podcasts, video libraries, and audio books into the platform as well as the works needed to customize the ecosystem to different languages.

#### Extended Plans
With the basic services covered at $10 million, any funding going over that amount will help to increase the profile of the platform to whole new levels. Reaching $15 million will allow Current to integrate their services to TV and film networks as well as expand the content catalog in-house. $17.5 million will secure a deal with some TV OS apps and allow integration with some live channel networks to secure real-time feeding. 

The money will also be used to finance an upgrade to the algorithms for content recommendations as well as an expansion to the Asian market. $20 million is the hard cap for the crowdfunding and if the company manages to reach the goal, they will be able to launch the decentralized protocol in their ecosystem and to expand their operations to every corner of the planet. 

#### Going Above Projections
The team behind Current believes firmly in their offering, and as such, they have planned in case of an overbearing success in the funding phase. If the crowdfunding manages to top over $20 million the company has plans to increase the user base by acquiring new content libraries, either by setting up direct partnerships or by offering incentives to the creation of original content within the platform.
