-First, my name; the truth is that I have three, but they can

call me Arael. I am 19 years old and I currently live in Venezuela.
 Ever since I was a child, I think I've always liked to draw, although

different series. I was trying to do on my own what I loved so much.

it became a lifestyle. Before I used to draw at most once

days. At first it was really exhausting, most attempts

Currently I draw almost daily, at least a small sketch,

with the intention of improving, of course, also because it is an issue that

Aquí mi presentación.

-Primeramente, mi nombre; la verdad es que tengo tres, pero pueden llamarme Arael. Tengo 19 años y actualmente vivo en Venezuela.
 Desde que era un niño, creo que siempre me ha gustado dibujar, aunque yo diría que realmente lo que me gustaba en ese entonces era ver; ilustraciones de otras personas, pinturas, paisajes, personajes de diferentes series. Intentaba hacer por mi cuenta aquello que tanto me apasionaba, y como no podía conseguir poderes como en las caricaturas, encontrarme en esos paisajes fantásticos o adentrarme en aquellos escenarios que tanto me emocionaban, las dibujaba. Creo que es una manera maravillosa de darle forma a lo que reside en nuestra mente, ayudándonos a canalizar nuestras emociones.
 La verdad es que en ese entonces no me lo tomaba muy en serio. Mientras iba creciendo fui probando otras cosas como: Los Scouts, planes vacacionales, las artes marciales, el voleibol. Pero al final, no terminaba de engancharme del todo en esas actividades. Durante todo ese tiempo, al crecer, hacia garabatos de vez en cuando y creía que era bueno para eso, sin embargo, fui capaz de ver la realidad a inicios de la cuarentena. Recuerdo que dibuje a una chica, muy sencilla, y quede satisfecho con el resultado, me sentía orgulloso, de verdad creía que no estaba mal, hasta que empecé a analizarla más detenidamente; La posición de los ojos, la nariz, la anatomía, las proporciones, la limpieza de los trazos. En fin, un montón de errores. Recuerdo que me puse a compararla con otra ilustración (De nivel profesional) Y la diferencia se me hizo mucho más clara y dolorosa. Desde ese entonces abrí los ojos, y decidí practicarlo más enserio.
Quería que mis dibujos tuvieran un verdadero nivel, llegar más alto.
 Ahí fue cuando empecé a entregarme a este hobbit de tal forma que empezó a ser un estilo de vida. Antes solía dibujar como mucho una vez al mes, pero después de esa revelación, practicaba casi todos los días. Al principio fue realmente agotador, la mayoría de intentos me irritaban, pero luego, poco a poco, empezaba a mejorar. Llego un punto en el que dejo ser tan frustrante. De verdad disfrutaba lo que hacía, ocasionando que quedara cada vez más atrapado en el mundo del arte. Buscando formas de mejorar, aplicándolas, notando las diferencias y probando cosas nuevas referentes a el arte, como las ilustraciones digitales, pixelarts, Arttrades. Podría decir que finalmente desarrolle autentica pasión por una actividad. No con esto quiero decir que un novato dibuje horrible, mucho menos que es bueno compararse con otros. Cada quien tiene su manera de crecer y de ver las cosas. Yo, en lo personal, prefiero comparar mis dibujos de hoy con los de ayer, y absorber todo lo que pueda de grandes artistas, para mejorar mi propio estilo.

Actualmente dibujo prácticamente a diario, al menos un pequeño boceto, con la intención de mejorar, claro, también porque es una cuestión que me hace sencillamente feliz.
Por eso espero poder compartir con todos ustedes esta pasión. ¡¡Aprendamos mutuamente de cada uno y apoyémonos como artistas que somos!!
