<p>Geometry starts with a point, then move forward by putting billions and billions of points side by side to make a line or line segment.</p>
<p>Then two lines intersect each other to make an angles. We can use three line segments to make a closed shape which is known as a triangle and triangle is the most basic polygon.</p>
<p>After learning about triangles we can start to consider about 4 line segments. What do we get if we use 4 line segments to make a polygon or to make a closed shape?</p>
<p>The shape we get, is known as a quadrilateral. A quadrilateral is a four sided shape with four vertices and four angles.&nbsp;</p>
<p>There are many types of quadrilaterals and we will learn about them one by one but for today's lesson just know about quadrilaterals!</p>
