In agricultural mindset one of the animal keeping that is not easily seen is the Snail keeping or the snail πππ rearing. And the reason been that so many people do not know the secret behind this animal keeping although it involves a lot of money nowadays. It is just beyond giving them leaves to feed on I can assure you that at the moment you need to feed your snails concentrate feeds. This concentrate feeds are always consumed by poultry animals. The poultry animals just like the broiler birds, the Turkey, the laying birds and all kinds of poultry animals. The consume this concentrate feeds according to stage by stage.
So you need to always be careful of what you feed your animals although some poultry birds can consume they will feed that the other type of poultry birds can eat if you switch it to one another but it may be dangerous to their health. But it can be done perfectly well if you will not exactly what I'm talking about. not only the poultry birds that can feed on the concentrate feet nowadays there are some animals the rabbit, the guinea pig they can also share in this type of good and healthy feed. I have done so many researches practically and it's really work on them so you can also give a trial on this aspect of farming too.
When I got out and on my way to the farm I noticed that there were a lot of snails working along the walkway, so I decided to highlighted to secure them apparently form animal keeping sake. I took some pictures of how I saw them and it was absolutely the thing of surprise by nature.
There was some of them coming out from different angles but yet I gave much more time to search for them and pick them up.
* This was when I picked some of them into where I already prepared for them instantly. All my preparation was at 100% because I knew I will definitely see one or two snails along the farm walkway.

When you see the pictures you can really notice that they look extremely fresh and healthy this is to show us that they are a lot of good and healthy leaves for them to eat naturally even before they are being caught. So there are also some animals that provide more nutrients into the body when it is been consumed naturally without too much cooking spices. The Snail also contains natural calcium.
When you consume the giant Africa snail breed and others, the release the natural calcium into the body system. And this is why if you do a little bit of a practical test on the Snail body, you will totally conclude that it is 100% correct. This is because when the snails injure its shell. Within 30 minutes to 1 hour you see it with a new developed shell. And what is responsible for the shell of a snail ππ? It's natural calcium.

When you even pick them up from their natural habitat you see them with a lot of fluid or juice which you can absolutely see in my hand it is also full of calcium naturally. This is why in some hospitals and also in some cases you see that they refer their patient to eat a lot of snails in order to regain their calcium level Back fully.
I also pick them up randomly while walking to the farm. If you absolutely love what we do as a farmer you can become a agricultural animal husbandry. Whereby you'll be able to raise animals on your own for meat or milk. All for any other purpose personally or commercially.
* We have so many animals that work more during the rain season and they also patronize everywhere most especially the western region of Nigeria and in some particular state we have animals like snails they work freely which also brings the eaganess to pick them up and either eat them or train them just like rearing of animals. So this type of animals are always seen during the rainy season and there was an every rainfall that fell up to 3 hours or even more overnight. This rainfall gave this crawling animal the big privilege to work around the farm likewise even just the pathway. This pathway ranges from one Farm to another connecting it to each other. I was early to go to the farm when I saw a lot of snails across the pathway.
You can see that this particular place is extremely bushy but yet we have snails walking outside to the main pathway. So in some state like kwara state, Osun state, Oyo state. People can easily have access to picking up of snails if they are interested. Because while I was picking up the snails this early morning I saw so many people watching me to see what exactly I was doing. I did not panic because I absolutely decided what to do as a farmer. Although if you have to go into this type of farming system which is also animal keeping you must be ready to sacrifice your time your financial aspect must also be guaranteed because they need concentrate feeds as well to grow up so well. I'm going to get deep into the rearing of snails in my next article.

This particular snails also ranges in sizes but not withstanding I took my time to pick them up one after the other even though they were not too close to each other but I spent more time searching for them more.
I also saw some under the already buried weed. This also shows that you can absolutely find them under already cut unwanted plants. It is absolutely possible just like I saw them few hours ago. I pulled up the already dried leaves and I saw them underneath.
I'm going to give us on extensive article what we can give our snails to keep them alive healthy and also grow up fast. We must always realize that when handling them or keeping them. They also need to be fed so well in order for them to grow up within 6 months of age.
