Examples of Collaborative Learning Applications that You Can Try
What is collaborative learning? In brief, Collaborative learning is a learning method that encourages participants to form teams and work together to solve problems and tasks. To be clear, you can read about this model in my article that I posted some time ago.

However, on this occasion, I want to explain about examples of collaborative learning which we can practice at school or home or anywhere else to educate our children. so this article focuses more on examples or procedures for applying collaborative learning models.

### Then, what are examples of collaborative learning? Here is the explanation.
* **Group learning**

As the name implies, collaborative. Which means collaboration. Of course in this model there are many people who are grouped or made into groups. Where everyone will meet someone else, and mutual discussion. Collaborative learning will not succeed without group learning.

Very Important to create and assign permanent groups of up to 5 people in group learning so that the material can be delivered more optimally. Later, each group member is required to be active, so that any ideas they have they can convey and can be absorbed by other group members.

So, instead of studying individually, it would be better to study together. The participants, in this case students, can exchange ideas, strengthen cooperation and communication skills, and learn new things from each other.

* **Conducting discussions with the fishbowl technique**

Through this technique students will interact with each other, they will exchange ideas, experience as well as information, and most importantly finding ways to solve a problem. All students are required to participate actively, not just be listeners.

This activity is called fishbowl because people who observe the discussion are as if they are looking at fish in an aquarium. How to play with this fishball technique is divided into two groups, namely discussion groups and observer groups. The discussion group will sit in layers in a circle, and beyond that layer sits the group of observers.

After that, the teacher gives a topic to be discussed by the discussion group. At the same time, the observer group must observe the course of the discussion. They can also record important things.

Later, the observer group will also be given time to express their opinion. When the first discussion is over, students switch roles. Those who were previously in the discussion group will now become the observer group and vice versa. Then, the second discussion began.

* **Brainstorming new idea**

If we return to the definition of collaborative learning, we can see that the main goal of collaborative learning is bringing together the minds of disparate people to create and generate new ideas.

Here, collaborative learning will be the biggest asset in the educational process to be able to generate new ideas and ultimately create quality education and also good outcomes for student development. Form small groups to come up with new ideas.

When you have found an idea that is considered worthy and well received by the public, convey to other groups. In this presentation there is also a question and answer session to open the discussion. Pay attention to suggestions and criticisms received. From this question and answer session, ideas that have been previously designed can be refined.

Those are some examples of cooperative learning models that we might be able to use at school, at home, or in the environment. not only to educate students or children, but we can also apply it in various ways for mutual progress
