Tempting Prices Better Than Unbound Cards

With DEC price rising it is tempting to spend my stack for cards. What kind of cards though because I have been noticing that card prices overall is net lower compared to unbound cards.

There are a lot of decent cards prices and it’s getting difficult to justify buying unbound when other cards will never get lock permanently.

It’s really tempting to buy other cards rather than unbound even though there is a time clock for unbound cards.

A Runemancer Kye around 17k DEC at max level is really really tempting.  Looking at supply too there are less of it printed therefore there won’t be many who can own it. On top of that no mandatory lockup like unbound cards. It all just seems like buying chaos and Riftwatchers is much more appealing at this point.

With under $700 for a Chaos max level regular set and under $1300 for Riftwatchers it’s very difficult not to be going for legacy cards if I have yet to finish upgrading.

The choices are tough. I don't really have that many funds so I haven't bothered but it does seem like a good time to buy and upgrade. I think the legacy choices and not rewards seem like the better option as you can sell them back later.

I agree, for anyone who doesn't have RW and CL or even CL non soulbound reward cards it makes no sense to buy the artificially inflated unlocked cards over them. They will have the same life time in modern and the ones that don't need unlocking end up being much cheaper. The only exception is if you have a soulbound card close to max level (or an important level of the card) and you just buy 1 or 2 bcx to reach the desired level.
