Impressions from our wet family getaway 🗾⛩⛰Japan in pictures

Three days of rain, that’s one way to describe our trip this weekend. But on the other hand so as I said three days of quality time family. We managed to enjoy ourselves and get around that area as much as possible.

The short moments when it didn’t rain left the car for some short walks and to get a closer look of the surroundings. Lots of green, that’s something you will immediately notice in this part of the world. Very refreshing and rejoicing!

I will leave you some more pictures to get some impressions of our surroundings. I tried to be as much in the nature as I could, even though the rain canceled our planned hiking idea.

This red bridge is now only open for pedestrians, and of course we had to take that chance to walk over and back when rain stopped for some brief moment

There are several dams along Agano-river, this one was near our place. Even though it isn’t the most scenic place it serves some rather big purpose and it still impressed me how people always build such constructions.

We were lucky to take a glimpse of the weekend-only steam train which passed through yesterday. Quite some people came from far away and gathered around us just to take a picture. Well each his or her own hobby.

And to round things up a nice mural we saw in our way in a very small settlement which caught our attention. The 12 signs of zodiac, 2020 we are in the year of the rat.

It might have been tough for almost all of us, but there are still three months left to make things better. Every day is a blessing, and I hope all of you will find something to enjoy today!
